Today I am recreating soft tender melt-in-your-mouth twisted donuts, right at home. This donut is soft and pillowy with a cinnamon sugar coating. You can also use this recipe for donuts or donut holes.
Ingredients
2 cups (260 g) all-purpose flour
1 cup (130g) rice flour
2 1/2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 1/4 tsp fast-acting dry yeast
3 Tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
3/4 cup warm milk
1 large egg (room temperature)
cooking oil for frying
COATING
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
pinch of salt
