SUBSCRIBE to Mark Abroad: Spiciest Chinese Food in Hanzhong: T-shirts: Today we’re eating our way through the beautiful city of Auckland, New Zealand! What are the top 5 must eat foods when you’re in Auckland, New Zealand Thank you to my friend Christian Kasper for helping to arrange this tour today! We had a lot of fun, met incredible people, and enjoyed delicious food in New Zealand - and still lots more to come. Muzza's Pies - We’re starting off with pies, not just any pies, but some of the best New Zealand savory pies you can eat. Christian and I tried five of them, and they are outstanding, but the steak and cheese was a highlight. Price - 6 - 8 NZD ($3. 59 - $4. 78 USD) per pie Tipene's Fish And Chips Takeaways Fish and chips is a staple in New Zealand, and Tipene's Fish And Chips Takeaways was on Auckland’s iconic eats list for serving one of the best versions in Auckland. Price - About 10 NZD ($5. 98 USD) per plate Giapo - You can’t come to New Zealand without trying hokey pokey ice cream, the national flavor. Giapo has taken ice cream to extreme levels, and his hokey pokey ice cream is one of the best. Price - About 10 NZD ($5. 98 USD) per person Tony's Original Steak & Seafood Restaurant - You definitely know about New Zealand lamb, it’s one of the most famous lambs in the world, so when I was in Auckland I had to search for a delicious lamb shank at one of the oldest restaurants in Aucilan. Price - $89 NZD ($53. 22 USD) for everything The White Lady - If there’s one institution in Auciland that everybody knows about and everyone from all walks of life has eaten at, it’s got to be The White Lady. I ordered the Old Skool Egg burger, also called the Kiwi Burger. Price - $16. 50 NZD ($9. 86 USD) Chapters: 0: 00 Intro 0: 59 Muzza's Pies 6: 01 Steak and Cheese Pie 11: 46 Tipene's Fish And Chips Takeaways 15: 13 Fish and Chips 22: 37 Giapo Ice Cream Auckland 24: 21 Hokey Pokey Ice Cream 22: 39 Mark Abroad for More Food Videos! 29: 12 Tony's Original Steak & Seafood Restaurant 34: 08 New Zealand Lamb Shank 37: 39 The White Lady 41: 15 Kiwi Burger 44: 46 Ending Follow on

Mark Wiens is in NZ! Whaaaattttt! I'm a kiwi and I am trying to figure how I haven't been to that pie shop cause my goodness, I am droooooling! That fish and chips looked bloody elite too! I got super excited when I saw you tried The White Lady Burgers. That was always my go to after a night of drinking in town. Worth the price for those whopper size burgers! I'm sitting here asking myself whyyyyy did I move to Australia! Planning my next trip home just to try the first two shops Love you Mark, thanks for visiting NZ with your beautiful family!

Truly love watching your journeys around the globe experiencing all different cuisine, cultures, locations & more. This video is quintessential Aotearoa, especially enjoying a great pie outside the bakery, while washing it down with good ole can of L&P. You cannot hide the delight & satisfaction of the food you taste, you sir are an absolute bloody legend. if you're ever passing through Palmerston North, our business would love to host you. Nau mai, haere mai.

Mark is being so nice trying to sell for New Zealanders, but we all know it'sshitfood right after british, Canada (excluding natives food, and Australians food.
But they have shitloadsof Middle East and Chinese, Thai, japs, and other countries East Asian food Lebanese and lamb is cheaper side. So I loved that fact of it when I was there.
Thanks Mark for being nice. I can't bring myself to be like that

Hello Mark, welcome to NZ
Going to say the same as so many others that we’ve been enjoying following you and your family and really enjoying your content for years and now so fun to see you here!
Have travelled to and sought out specific places around the world as a result of watching you in great episodes there - and now what a blast to see you here in places I already know and love!

Hi Mark, hey mate love most of your content but I do not believe the guy that showed you around Auckland New Zealand did not represent New Zealand cuisine/ food such a shame and if he’s a kiwi he needs to check him self and find his kiwi spirit again and represent because that was a shameful version of New Zealand food

I used to live across the road from Tipenes. I'd wander over, get a box of fish and chips, bring it home and watch Mark's videos while I ate it. Now I'm living in a different country watching Mark eating Tipenes across the road from my old house! Struggling to wrap my brain around this one! :D

Did they warn you ahead to let the pie cool down I was waiting for the burnt lips
If you make it across the pond to Aus, get in touch. I can tell you a place with some absolutely delicious chilli pies!
Away from the big smoke in a sleepy beach town, NSW.

Yeh. Sorry Aussie. You don’t do pies like New Zealand. Some pretty good place.
But the love shows here. It’s tradition that wins at the end of the day.
Someone’s are good in Aussie, but the tradition goes out the window when it’s $11.

You got the Snapper and the Tarakihi mixed up bro, the snapper was the one after the hoki, snapper have distinct black veins that run through the fillet which you can see when you break the fillet in half

As an Aussie of Kiwi parents, I think New Zealand has the best pies, but Australia has the banh mi.
If I could find a bakery that had Auckland pies and Sydney banh mi I'd be happy forever lol.

seriously $8 for a pie Its no wonder people are so poor
I'll bet for just $50 I could make 25 pies at $2 ea in 6 styles.
Freeze the whole lot once cooked and defrost when needed.
