You should show true proper respect and annunciate every word you speak with a Mexican accent, not just words of Spanish or Mexican origin. I mean, when you are in Mexico, all the words the people use that have entered their everyday language that originated from other languages. are spoken with a Mexican accent by the locals. Don't be a halfway goofball, go all the way.

Flor de calabaza is pumpkin flowers. Mexicans and most countries dont let nothing go to waste. Eating things like scorpions grasshoppers and humiles( insects looking like fireflies) makes me squinch but thats their culture. Some of my friends like the experience but I just cant find them going down my throat.

Mark Wiens I am 45 years old and that chile in the tortilla and then dip is a childhood favorite. I believe most Mexicans do that. Always good in Menudo. Even when we had no meat, you can always get full from just dipping the tortilla in the soup. Very tasty. God bless you and your family.

One thing i love about mexican food is that it is a humbling experience because most of our food is eaten by hand Whereas in the u. s most are too fragile to get their finger dirty lol
