Drews channel: Pla Mae Nam Restaurant, or river fish restaurant in one of my ultimate favorite restaurants in Bangkok, Thailand. If you love spicy food, this is a place you will love. This was a spur of the moment meal and video - I was hanging out with my friend Drew and after going to a floating market, we happened to be not too far away. So we stopped off to eat at Pla Mae Nam Restaurant, a restaurant Im willing to travel to the ends of the earth to eat at. They have a full menu of Thai dishes, most of them quite spicy, and most of them using freshwater fish - thats even what the name of the restaurant is. Here are the dishes we ordered: Chili stir fry ) - This is probably my favorite dish to order here, they make no mistakes, its literally liquid fire curry, and you can choose your choice of fish to go with it. The herbs also balance the heat, including both holy basil and sweet basil. Jungle curry eel ) - Heres also one of the greatest dishes, and it happens to be one of the best versions in all of Bangkok for me. This jungle curry will blow your taste buds off your tongue Fried fish cakes ) - The fried fish cakes are a dish that just about no one who eats at Pla Mae Nam Restaurant ) doesnt order, and they happen to be the best Ive ever had. They are so spongy. Fried fish ) - Again, you can choose your fish, which is deep fried, topped with fried garlic, and served with sauce and pineapple. Fried frog ) - Another dish we decided to try this meal was fried frog. The frog was very meaty, and delicious. Shrimp, stink beans ) - Finally, our waitress talked us into ordering stink beans - it wasnt very hard to talk me into it. Its always a favorite dish of mine. It was superb, nothing short of flavor overdose in the mouth

I think the hotter the dish. How can you taste other dishes. I know your taste buds are so used to so much spiciness I feel sorry for your stomach in the future but that's besides the point. I just don't understand how you can eat so much hot spicy food yet you're able to taste all the different foods I'm sure that some foods are strong flavor and maybe they overpower the spice not sure on that yet. I know when I ate a jalapeno my mouth is on fire but yet I love it and I can't taste a lot of the other foods because everything is just hot after that spicy hot

You know it's rather hard to tell if you like the foods or not based on facial expression alone. I understand you don't put ratings scale like Food ranger did because you didn't want to offend the vendor. However you could at least tell us what you like and dislike about the foods. Just my 2c.

Why not try making some videos about eating good nutritious healthy food on a very limited budget and which does NOT have a kilo of salt an sugar added. ( NOT talking about offal) Most people are NOT affluent

If you have High Blood Pressure or you are diabetic (eating out in Thailand) can be an issue due to the amount of Salt and Sugar which most Chefs add to the cooked food. Just a word of warning
