Great video, started only knowing Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw but glad to learn about a strongman from here in CA! --Just wanted to leave a comment saying I'm not a fan of getting angry about money comments. There's nothing wrong with wondering how you can make a living in certain professions, even if it's prying to ask. I take it as a compliment, like -wow, you can make a living with that, that's impressive- unless they're specifically rude about asking (I used to work a strange job too so I've heard that question many times. Just really shocked me to see someone get so angry about someone's simple curiosity, Robert's probably just gotten a lot of comments/questions from people who were rude about it and just overreacted if I had to guess.

Some of those comments make me think of a term that Dave Batista said, he said some little guys have -size issues-. They see a guy this size, and theyre threatened. unless hes an absolute jerk, which I dont think he is, then the problem is theirs. Theyre unhappy with how they look so they attack others. The same type of ppl usually beat up their gfs, too. If you have size issues, leave Oberst, and ppl like him th alone (not only could they break you in half) theyre doing what they love, and making a living from it. Thats the definition of success, and its none of anyones business any more than what they do is his. the difference is, he doesnt care and youre not famous, so if anyone hates you they do so for personal (and probably valid) reasons.

Takes no shit and gets to the point. The idiots need that. Lots of disinformation out there when it comes to body types, little understanding of physics - -weight moves weight- etc. Fashionable body types are usually a lie when it comes to practicality and applying ones objectives upon reality. People think they are clever till they get the wrong side of a whole lot of weight and power then reality hits home. There is a reason they hide behind keyboards rather than get out there for real.

nice to hear from a fellow large dude that he has the same reactions to be as I do, here I am walking around minding my own business, shopping etc, and people are thinking whoaaa look at this big scary dude better not mess with him, and at the same moment I am singing in my head -Spider man. Spider man - friendly neighborhood Spider man -- as I walk around looking for Twinkies nad Cupcakes onsale at the grocery store. Love you Robert, you're my Dude!

I'm gonna answer some of Obie's questions the way i thought they should have been answered. His dick is small when lifting because all the blood is in his huge muscles, but when he stops lifting he turn into the elephant man lol! As far as his money is concerned. if you don't know how pro athletes get paid, then your an idiot (period! Aside from that. the key to being awesome and huge like Obie is to Love/Respect your Mama!

I relate to the picked up fat kid like him. I'm not that tall (like 5'11-) but when I became all-state football team and broke the adult record of powerlifting in the school (my highschool was part of a university here in Mexico) like 300kg total, people started respecting. It's about what you do, not what you look like

Hi Robert, Obie, are you going to put up a site like Brian and Eddie. I'd love to support your efforts. I love the Pretty and Strong shirt! You four, including Nick, are a riot! I've seen -Munchies- on you tube. Bunker Branding as well. Not the same as -Obie the One! - OK, cheesey, cliche. You can have it. You have fans!

Why so cagey about the pay question? It read more like a question about WSM pay structure than about how much Robert Oberst specifically earns, and since the whole things funded effectively by the existence of a fan base, it's a perfectly reasonable question.

My mom is 5'3- and my dad is 5'10-. I am 13 years old and over 6 feet tall. I want to be a strongman. A lot of people in my family were bodybuilders, so I get why it is easy for me to build muscle, but I dont know where I got my height from.
