And Tennessee is not the real south I get so sick of hearing people from Tn day they live in the south seriously I-m from the Deep South New Orleans Louisiana you can get much southern then that seriously were on the Gulf of Mexico there when I moved to Tn 2 years ago its comical to hear people call this state the south lmao like really your more middle then south seriously Texas Louisiana Mississippi Alabama and Florida are the real south period

How's this guy go to say that its 1 of the only places in the world that still makes whole hog BBQ? Guess he knows nothing about BBQ and the difference regions and their traditions. Because whole hog BBQ is the traditional carolina way of BBQ! Any real BBQ fan would know that! I was raised in NC and every BBQ joint/smoke house you go to does whole hog BBQ!

Love this i planned on naming my resturant whole Hog. And when i came across this video while looking for ideas to start my bbq business imagine my suprise to see you doing the exact same thing. . Its like you are living my dream. I can learn alot from you. I would like to take a trip to see this being done

The first one (Peg Leg) is wildly overrated, unfortunately. Martins is the other main BBQ joint in Nashville, it's also pretty shit. Very touristy, expensive and the meats dried out. I've tried both multiple times. The best BBQ is off the beaten track, where the locals eat. Just like the 2nd and 3rd place.

London will never come close to the original bbq, if you really wanted to see original bbq in the uk you should go down to folkestone, theres a place down there serving true original bbq, the pit master down there is from north carolina and been in the business over 35 years.

If you're in Memphis, you owe it to yourself to try ribs. Sure. But what really will surprise you are the dry-rubbed chicken wings from Central BBQ. I've been eating Memphis ribs for 20 years and only just recently discovered Central's -wings. - Thank me later.

Almost all of the bbq in Eastern NC is whole hog. The Piedmont of NC cooks shoulder. That is one of the biggest differences between eastern and piedmont BBQ. That and the sauce. This place in Lexington, TN is hardly one of the few places left that cook whole hog.
