Co-Chefs Elena Yamamoto and Yael Peet of Brooklyn's Karasu leave their small izakaya kitchen for a night of sake, pasta, and more pasta in the East Village and beyond. The night out begins at East Village staple Sake Bar Decibel for sake and small bites. Then it's over to the West Village where the chefs order almost every pasta on the menu at Via Carota before heading back to Brooklyn for mac and cheese and white wine spritzers at Moloko. The night ends back at Karasu where the chefs whip up karaage sliders with Japanese tartar sauce to top off the perfect evening

I really like the food aspect, but I can't help but feel like we really need to stop promoting alcool and getting drunk, I have nothing against you if you enjoy being a little tipsy, but we can't ignored that it's highly dangerous when in high concentration. Why else would company try to make shit like 4 loko and similar stuff. This -let's stray close to ethylic coma for fun-, I just don't get.

It was a woman that got Adam and Eve kicked out of the garden of Eden. -It was women that destroyed the cohesive work place. It was women that destroyed the family unit. -Come on women, you're batting a 1, 000, only civilization left. -(Vice deleting comments that doesn't fit their narrative again)

I hope you adorable ladies are reading these wonderful comments. You are all beautiful inside and out and seem to be genuine to the truth of food and exploration of the tongue. Much luck and love to all. Well done Munchies for an excellent and insightful episode. Xx

They're almost like opposites, more of what you lack I got and vice versa. You can tell by they're expressions towards each other that they're fond of one another. As always I love these Chef Night out episodes. Shout out to Munchies.

These ladies and this night out video reminded me of the night outs I had with my boys. gosh I miss those days. It's tough going on night outs when your closest group of friends are scattered across 3 continents.

I really like these Chefs night out episodes. Just the whole show-casing a local resturaunt and then going out and seeing the little hidden spots chefs eat at. Love it. Keep it up Munchies. MORE MORE MORE!

I was gonna same something slick and trolly but this episode is one of the better episodes in a long time. The ladies seem authentic and look like they're having fun. Good job munchies more female chefs

I-ve been watching this video for five mins. It-s honestly just grossly pertinacious. This is what you do when you go out to eat on your day off? There is no part of this that is believable.

Wish there was better lighting during the restaurant scenes to really show off the food! Everything is too dark and orange-y. Maybe a soft-box to have for the next shoot?
