That's actually better because bread is all carbs which causes a spike in insulin, eventually stressing out internal organs which makes you fat and sleepy etc. I bet this barely registers on a blood glucose monitor in an hour. This isn't something I'd normally order but I'd take this over anything with normal bread. The problem is when you order this fat bomb and then throw down a medium fries which again is just carbs waiting to spike your glucose levels. But if you maybe had a green salad (Carbs + high fiber) instead of fries and this. to me, not a problem.

Sam do you ever do double dipped fried chicken where one puts the floured chicken back in the buttermilk after the first flooring and then back into the flour? It is supposed to make it even crisper especially if cornstarch is added. just thought it be worth you exploring

Don't do this on your stove as you will light your place on fire. But if you do, just keep some excess flour around to pour onto the flames. Do not use water or you will regret it. I recommend a large pot as opposed to a deep dish pan.

the only way to make it 'homemade' or different than the original, is to be putting your own ingredients into the recipe, otherwise you would just be recreating whatever it is your tryna to recreate.
