We're making the most epic French Onion Soup - and it may possibly be the ultimate comfort food. Abdul: You should take suggestions from your viewers and cook them in a later episode. Maybe Indian snacks. With your own twist of course. My fave is Onion bhaji's and Samosas. Thank you for all the uploads and love the editing especially the random noise between transitions. very clever subliminal stimuli

Love your videos! We watch one every night before dinner. I have made about 20 of your dishes so far and they all have been outstanding! My wife bought me your knife for Christmas and i love it! My wife s favorite dish is chicken Marsala but I don t think you have a video for that. Can you make it sometime please? Thanks! Mike.

NGL, my mother, and subsequently me, use this exact recepy for a good 35+ years. Including the soy sauce, but with red wine instead of sherry.
I will be making it again this weekend. I love to eat different all the time, but sometimes sticking to a classic ain't wrong either.

Expert chefs constantly slice and dice their fingers on mandolin no matter how much they ve used one. so when I saw Sam, Mr. OW THAT S HOT, slide one out- I got nervous
Edit: I m so glad he used the little holder thing and didn t go whole hog

I follow a few people who have made this, notably Babish, but this one looks so bad in terms of quality. Sorry to be negative but it s hopefully constructive because it certainly looks like you made this on the fly.

There used to be a local restaurant in my community called Aesops Table that had the best French Onion soup I've ever tasted. The went out of business a long time ago, but I think I'll give your recipe a shot.

Never was a huge fan of this soup but this version looks so appetizing. To be honest if I recreated it I probably still won t like it but who knows maybe with this recipe it ll be different haha

I'm so sorry to say that but, I'm french and i never ate this food. And you'll never find this in 99% of french restaurants.
Anyway this looks amazing and your accent is priceless ahah.

Ideas for episodes? I m sure I m not alone when I suggested yesterday, El Pollo Loco! Their marinade, whatever it is, absolutely delicious. Just do it dammit, F what Max thinks.

Don't wanna be the perfectionist douche, but you didn't do the one thing that makes French onion soup French and that's cutting the onions Julienne, length wise, not across.
