Greetings Sam! Today marks exactly 69 recommendations for Chicken Enchilada Soup! Would love to see your take on it, but was excited that I made a NICE number of recommendations. Take care man! Today's recommendation 09/05/24. Re-posting each video because this recipe is THAT good: Chicken Enchilada Soup
Dishes: Large Soup pot, medium pot for the protein & broth
Protein - Chicken Breast, Boneless, Skinless, simmered in chicken broth until mostly cooked. Pull from the broth (saving the broth, and shred. Reintroduce to the final pot along with broth as needed.
Spices - Cumin, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Chili Powder, Cayenne Pepper, Smoked Paprika, taco seasoning, Souza seasoning, black pepper.
Add-ins - frozen or grilled corn, black beans, black olives, 2 chopped / diced onions, 2 cans green chilies, 2 de-seeded and diced jalapenos, 1 can of rotel diced tomatoes.
Sauce-Add-ins - Cream cheese, Sour Cream, Tabasco Sauce, Cholula Hot sauce. 2 large cans of enchilada sauce ( our favorite is Rosaritas.
Prepare the protein in a separate pot / pan, once again, be sure to save the broth.
Into the main soup pot, place non-sauce add-ins first and start a gentle simmer to get the onions and chilis sweating and start the flavor-mixing process. Lower the heat down to medium-Low and add in the enchilada sauce. Add spices and stir. Add tabasco sauce and Cholula hot sauce and stir. Adjust the spice levels of the chili powder, cayenne, cumin, and taco seasoning to point it's got a serious bite. This is when we temper with the cream cheese ( about half a package/bar ) and sour cream to temper it to desired spice level.
Reintroduce the chicken to the main soup pot and add broth to desired amount. Readjust spice level intensity if desired.
Remain on medium-Low heat for about an hour, stirring about every 5 minutes to keep the bottom from scorching. This requires patience, but allows all those flavors to mix and mingle together. Over time, this will likely lead to a very gentle boil.
Serve with fresh cilantro, sour cream, and shredded cheese. You can also crush tortilla chips over the top for an added texture

Looks delicious, Sam! I’ll take all 4 of those, and I’ll just be sitting over there eating it all by myself!
So glad you are enjoying your AI meta eyeglasses, but I prefer you over the AI, and without the AI. AI takes all the creativity out of people. Don’t go that path, Sam! Come back to the light where the camera is and the sun is shining out!

Hey Sam! To step this recipe up a little, cook all the meats and veggies on their own skewers since they will have different cook times. Add a shrimp skewer and mini potatos (boiled with some thyme and oregano) throw it all in a pot for a Shish-kabob pot.

Virgin glasses aside, those in the military will know. I don't think they are needed for cooking. Not a bad marinade. I think I would be adding at least a quarter to a half cup of Jack Daniels to it. Was that hot honey or regular

Maybe you should have a red and green light for Max and Chance. When you do want them to answer one of your questions, green. When it's a rhetorical question, red. Then they won't have to guess and you won't have to yell.
reply

Yeah Sam you've rarely done wrong but I can't go along with the AI and where it leads. I'm all for maybe more POV filming from your perspective but you're better when you are just you! Old school Sam is the best Sam!

I love my Meta smart glasses! The battery is only good for about 4 hours so, I have two! One in use & One in the case charging! Meta needs to update their smart glasses to help out low vision people more!

You take Monday off for this In 2 months you won't even remember where you left them. Goofy ear bud promos are one thing, this is just disappointing. I hold my free content to a high standard smh

I'll pass on the AI crap. I actually had to read 1984 by George Orwell in high school. I never dreamed it would come true. Worse yet, I never dreamed we'd willingly pay for it to come true. Ugh.
reply

If you need to put chicken or pork on the skewer, you need to boil first than cut in cubes and install, if you don't the poultry takes longer to cook and all the other stuff gets over cooked.
reply

Incredibly disappointing guys, loyal fans who love to watch you cook and you sellout. Running an ad sure, but the whole video is an ad with bits of cooking thrown in. You're better than this.
reply

Not the fact of anyone enjoying it, can do that in your own private time. Instead showing people a bad product to promo and if stuff goes downhill this is the example to comeback to.
reply

I'll give you a pass as an enthused guy with a new toy who didn't quite realize the Pandora's Box he was wearing and was just having fun. That's what guys do. For this one video.

A META episode, really I get the geeky coolness of the glasses and AI integration. but kind of expected you to do the STCG thing and modify the recipe with your own touches.
reply

I don't begrudge you having sponsors, but this was too much. I skipped through two minutes, then when the ad continued through the cooking I stopped watching. Sorry guys.
reply

Ahh man, I hope he doesn’t lose track of why people are here (for fun, easy recipes and his humor along the way) for paid advertisements. had to back out of this one.
reply

If I had photographic memory for the recipe rattled off so darn fast why would I need the AI glasses Glasses don’t work for. Detailed step by step instructions!
reply

I have no intention of buying the glasses for every reason already mentioned, but I hope Sam and The Boys got a FAT check from Meta for this.
reply

That's the most basic Greek kebob recipe I've ever seen. Hit us up with some more of that experimental shit. This is for great granny's.
reply

I put mushrooms on separate skewers with lots of brushing with marinade. Otherwise skewers have bell peppers, onion and meat cubes.
