You don’t know how to make flour tortillas, dude. Tortilla presses are meant for corn tortillas. It’s super disingenuous to claim that you like flour tortillas thick’. You don’t. Nobody does.
You’re leading first-time cooks into thinking this is correct and yields desirable results. That’s not cool. Be real.
What happened dude 30 min vids to 8 min vids of rushed content full of plugs, self promos and ads. Unreal.
By the way, don’t worry. I don’t care about the knife giveaway. Based on your advice in the past year or so, I don’t think I’d ever want a knife recommended by you. Cheers and wake up.

This is a close approximation of what my mom would make many times for me and my siblings growing up. Hers was more soupy rather than a filling for a taco. I think she used some kind of Knorr brand seasoning packet or cube to season it with and not much else. It was never really my favorite. However, now my mom has cancer and I live on the other side of the world in Korea. Anything that reminds me of her is precious. You are precious for sharing. Thank you.

Great video! Football season is coming, that means football parties! I suggested awhile ago, Traeger smoked salmon candy (look at the email recipe I sent) which is always a huge hit at any party! Thats my suggestion abnd I 'm sticking to it, plus I want to win a knife! No matter what, your videos are the bomb!

As I was watching this video, I was thinking hey I got all that stuff right here so I made this last night and we loved it. I made some cornbread to go with it and was thinking cornbread over the top and then baked would’ve been an awesome variation. I think I’ll do it that way next time.

Yes, I'm slow at video time, I'm a mechanic and tinker cook, I know the bowl must be good glassware, but try a soft disposable rag with a dab of good gasoline to help remove the shrink film from the bowl, I think it might act like the sun baked adhesive on people's cars and slowly let loose.

I am going to make this in the morning and add eggs two ways. The first, scramble eggs and add them to the Picadillo con Papas to cook, much like making chorizo and eggs. Second, let the Picadillo con Papas thicken and place in a bowl. Add a couple of sunny side eggs on top.

How much water to make the tortillas Not listed int he Picadillo con Papas recipe, and I did a few searches of the website and couldn't locate a flour tortilla recipe. That looked like a 2-cup measuring cup, but I can't tell how much warm water was in it. Help

Hmmmm. Looks great, and yes, very simple to make. you could also do this with a well-trimmed pound of chuck roast, in the pressure cooker/Instant Pot. When cooked, shred the meat, throw the taters in, simmer for 20 min or so until taters are cooked.

Just received my STCG Cast Iron griddle a couple days ago. You guys ain't F-ing around with the packaging. Probably the best packaged item I've purchased in quite some time. Smash burgers are going to be the first thing I make on the grill.

Looks fab!
But I’m kinda shocked he didn’t add some harissa-yea it wouldnt be Mexican anymore-but it’s all the same basics and would be crazy good in it.
Oh and a poached egg on top has to happen too.

love your comments to first time cooks. I am quietly appalled at the young people who cannot cook an egg. First hand knowledge from home care lovely ladies amazed that I cook and always ask me how.
