This is nothing new Sam. Just a revamp of an old 1700's recipe for standing paste. Which later became pot pie and now. yeah. History is amazing. LOL. Look into some 1700's or earlier cookbooks. You find all these things. But they have been forgotten and now you get to be genius with a new invention. Calzones, patsies, coffins, it's all a stiff paste. Nothing new, just forgotten.

You are artistes, but even artistes miss out sometimes; Hatch Green Chile, fire roasted, not steamed, would have been a better addition to this amazingly beautiful taste treat. Thank you so much for taking us with you down this lovely little stroll through flavorville.

Could you make these in muffin tins and make slider potpies for appetizers Maybe use puff pastry over pie crust May take a little to cook the sliders then just production line them prior to a party. Make a few dipping sauces for toppings.

It's not weird at all. I will put salt and pepper on mine and I have seen others do it as well. Not to mention I have seen people put fruit in theirs but I am not a fan of that myself.
I see nothing wrong with seasoning cottage cheese.

I don't think I have ever craved cottage cheese much less ate it for breakfast. I'm not much of a breakfast guy anyways. But, cottage cheese would not be an option for me. But, hey Sam, you do you. No disrespect for your breakfast choices

Reminds me of the pasty that my mother used to make. I think I remember she saying it was like a Welsh pasty. Something they baked in their lunchbox that they took to the coal mines I don’t know that’s what I remember.

You had me at Pot Pie! Put anything in a crust and it is amazing! Maybe pre bake the crust a few minutes to solid it up so the few juices from the onions and burgers don’t take away the awesome flaky crust factor

If you’re looking at British inspiration, why not make a Cornish pasty I spent a week in London on my first trip out of the country and didn’t discover them until the next to last day! What a crime.

Seasoning on cottage cheese (in the tub of course, is my favorite late night snack. Just season the top layer and eat it down a little then back in the fridge for tomorrow night.

I've made cottage cheese at home a few times. Super easy and sooooo good--infinitely better than any store bought cottage cheese; it actually tastes like cheese.

That looked good, but i think i prefer a smashed burger. You were too busy wondering if you could do it, you never stopped to think if you should!

Your way of eating cottage cheese is NOT weird. I love savory cottage cheese. Lemon pepper is one of my favorite seasonings on cottage cheese.

how about a dollop or so of a quality BBQ sauce in there Not so much s to make it soggy but as a supreme flavor enhancer.
