Sam for the love of God can you please upgrade your silicone spatula. Me and my wife watch your videos in bed at night and if I have to hear her complain about your dingy mixer thing one more time I may not make it. The non cooks don't understand that we like what we like but my ears can't take it anymore! Keep up the awesome content we love watching on the regular. upgrade that spatula!

1: 15 One stick of butter equals half a cup because butter was historically made/sold in one pound salted blocks. the 4 sticks in modern packaging are the butter blocks divided into quarters for easier use and refridgeration, it just so happens that a pound of butter equals 2 cups. Inshort, butter is sold by the pound not by the stick.

We have Costco stores in Australia that have Kirkland Signature American Sliced Cheese. I put it on my home cooked smashed burgers that I make using Australian Wagyu Beef that I get from my local butcher. Come to Melbourne, it's the unofficial food capital of Australia and the best city to get yourselves a HSP!

Can’t wait to make this but, unfortunately for us, it’s hard to find fresh dill here in Mexico City. I use freeze dried dill, and have learned to like the results. Thanks for your amazing videos. Enjoy your videos from here, in CDMX.

We had an upstairs kitchen and a downstairs kitchen. In the summer, we would use the downstairs oven so the upstairs would not get too hot. We didn’t have upstairs and downstairs grandmas.

This was my Son's and his friends most requested item way back when. I found the recipe in a local paper, but with marinara not ranch. I'm gonna try that ranch dip soon, Thanks Guys!

My aunt’s house has a basement kitchen, essentially used by my uncle when he cooks stuff and doesn’t want my aunt yelling at him for making the house smell, it’s a nifty idea.

Sam! It was awesome to meet you at Samburgers this past weekend. Thank you for taking a minute in your busy schedule to chat. You guys are the reason I don’t eat TV dinners!

I make a dessert version of this recipe using butter, dry instant pudding mix, & chopped chopped walnuts. Essentially made the same way and equally as delicious!

As for the butter question, Max, who knows why it's a half a cup If you buy Kerrygold it's a full cup, so go figure. Thanks for another great video, gentlemen!

Hey Sam, I've cut my fingers with every knife I have. Can I win one of yours to see if I can keep the tradition going
P. S. I need to make this for the boys at work.

Ok Sam this has to be one of THE best super bowl party appetizers of all time. Thanks for sharing. Oh and great job Chancy on guessing the butter correctly

Chance & I asked the exact same questionI immediately chuckled to myself after Sam made that comment & asked, Why is the kitchen in the basement!

Back in the old days, Grandmas cooked in the basement because it was cooler and they didn't have air conditioning yet. I want a knife. Heh heh

My great grandmother had two kitchens; one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs kitchen is where all the real shit was made.
