Men! i get hungry each time when i watch you cooking all that good stuff. i gonne try this one for sure. My favorite ingredients, pasta, chicken, garlic, mushrooms, cream, wine.
Loved aspecially the video with the toast iron, all the things you sqeezed in there. amazing and bizar yummy and crunchy. You make it look so easy and to be honest, my motto just put some love and effort in your cooking and just craft a spell, it sometimes is like or feels like a spell. It is not always easy but always fun. Timing can be a challenge sometimes, fail and get up and try again.
What i like about cooking is exploring, trying new recepes, just trying and making good food (yeah sometimes there is a fail. Most important at the end is the satisfaction when i get a thumbs up or smiling faces from the wife and the kids or whoever is trying my cooking magic. Just makes me happy.
Thanks for all the yummy moments.
Oh and i need a good knife, mine are crap. just being honest here. ;-)

LOL - I wouldn't go to Olive Garden for that. Even if it says Marsala, it's still going to be a thick nasty creamy heavy white sodium filled white sauce. You basically have two choices at OG - alfredo or marinara. There are no garlic & oil options or white wine sauce options

I was wondering what you did with the mushroom stems. , is cut up the stems, dehydrate them and grind them into powder in a coffee grinder. Pour into a jar or what ever and when you need mushroom flavor (like gravy) and have no mushrooms, just grab some powder.

I am a weird Italian in that I don't like wine. Give me the rums and bourbons and vodkas and I'm good. But, this recipe certainly looks like Sam is correct w/r/t buying a bottle of the Marsala wine. So what if I have to make this over and over again to use up the wine.

Red Lobster. did not loose on shrimp. when their new owners sold the land under the Lobsters to another company they owned, then rented the land back to Lobster. Raising the cost of business yet showing short term profits over the land sale. bonus for corporate.

Personally, I've never had an issue with Olive Garden, I always believed their food was good, high quality, and innovative; on the other hand, Leno used to bash them all the time, which I never understood.

There is a definite high spot in the middle of my cast iron (STCG 12. Right in the middle of the pan, about 4 inches in diameter. Is that normal I'm honestly thinking of grinding it completely flat and reseasoning.

i'm a chicken marsala wizard.
You did it very well.
EXCEPT!
I tend to like much more marsala. Personal.
And i don't use cream.
But marsala is a wonderful wine for cooking.

Chicken Marsala always taste like it's spoiled to me regardless of how freshly made it was. I guess it's kinda like how cilantro taste like soap to some people.
