I love how you use shortcuts like a precooked rotisserie chicken but canned enchiladas I haven’t have enchiladas like this since I was a kid. They’re EXTREMELY similar (if you know what I mean) to the ones served at the good Chicago hot dog and beef joints. Now that I live in Texas it’s a sin to bring them up in a conversation. Well I will stay silent no longer since I now have the endorsement of SATG. Keep up the good work md best wishes to my number one culinary teacher.

Love this one! I live by myself & I love to cook. Once a scale this down to a smaller Lodge skillet, this oughta rock. Still gonna smoke the whole bird, just gonna use the leg 1/4’s for my dish. Hey, how about a cookbook for single guys that like to cook (and, secretly, want to impress a potential mate) It would be a best-seller.

Definitely going to make that one. I've had the canned tamales before and they were ok but not all that special (especially after I tried real tamales. Never ever did I think to add them to my Spanish rice. Definitely on my radar now though. I always knew those tamales had another purpose in life. Lol

Looks delicious. But for the record. That is white peoples idea of what they think Tex-Mex 60 born and raised in Texas close and not so close to the border and been all over my state. I only see recipes like this in my State in places run by white folks. And yes, I'm a Texan and a Mexican.

thank you Sam for always having such a funny presentation and lots of energy days like today where I'm about to put one of my doggies down. I've been really sad and you actually brought a smile to my face today. Thank you

Looks amazing. If I may, I do not care for the voiceover part that starts at 1: 05. Maybe something was F’d up with the sound If it was intentional, I don’t like it. Takes character away from the video.

My girlfriend was so excited to see this when she saw the thumbnail. She was hoping for some black beans and corn. When she saw the canned tamales think my chances of ever getting this meal went out the window

I've never even seen canned tamales, and to be honest I'm not sure I want to. I love that JuicyAF bird though! I'll probably make this using my own enchilada sauce and diced tomatoes and chilies.

I would suggest removing the skin before applying the rub and smoking. When you pull apart the chicken you’re probably not keeping much of the skin so you lose all that spice and smoke flavor.

Tonight’s dinner! BUTI’ll be using a rotisserie chicken (I don’t have a smoker, and local markets don’t carry the tamalesI’ll have to sub in something else. Thx Sam!

Man, the chicken and rice by itself would have been great, but adding those canned tamales reallly puts this over the top! Definitely going to give this a go soon!

What happened to the audio at the beginning Why the voice over Anyway, things happen. Always glad that Max is making these vids; they are just the best. Thanks.

Aside from smoking the chicken, this seems like something I would randomly throw together after a night out with the lads! Looks delicious and so easy to make.

My wife has a broken wrist. So I’ve been cooking. I can’t wait to make this! I love to use my smoker any chance I get! Keep up the delicious job!

Save the bones for collagen broth. Freeze it. It’s good for skin health and preservative free broth.
I have decided that I want to win a knife.

Looks great! Make that annoying guy's meal so he can stop spamming the comment section! He ate paint chips as both a child and an adult!

I’ve watched everyone of your videos for the past 4 years even went back and watched your earliest video your food always looks good.

If you did a rotisserie chicken, this would make a really good 1 pot meal. The smoked chicken has got to be a million times better, though!

The beginning scared me, Sam. All production and no live-ness. Please don't go that route. Ok. What a GREAT thing you made!

Thank you! I’ve made so many of your recipes and I have to say it’s always a great meal and everyone I cook for loves everything!
