Succulents Pumice Mycorrhizae Garden Answer Michael: I know this is old, and i hate to nit pick, but mycorrhizae is not A fungus.
Mycorrhizae is the plural for mycorrhiza, which is the symbiotic relationship between a fungus and a plant. A mycorrhizal inoculant will typically have spores from several different fungal species that will each be capable of forming a mycorrhizal relationship with the plants rhizome (although some just contain one or two species. Collectively these will be the rhizome's mycorrhizae.

We just picked up a bag of that pumice, too. My husband is using it for bonsai starts, and I'll be using it for my succulents. We've also heard great things about it, can't wait to see for myself!

Thanks for sharing! I have to tell you that you are the reason I have succulents in my house now. My tween daughter even likes them and has some in her bedroom. She planted them up herself!

Laura, I absolutely love your yard. I wish my yard was even half of what yours is. Maybe in 2 yrs we'll be able to start working on a yard like that, when we move to the farm.

Place a capsule at the base of your hole when you are planting something. I'm not sure how that would help your plant grow but it sounds interesting.
