2. I got some bamboo in a shallow pot of water from a friend and it looks sick. it does have some green leaves but most are yellow or turning yellow. I've heard just keep changing out the water but I've never had success with any plant in the past so I was wondering if you had any suggestions.

if i wanted to plant a succulent garden in a bird bath. for it to survive for a long period of time, would it have to have drainage holes?
