Random Projects VLOG Garden Answer Marsha: Okay this may sound ignorant and if so my apologies. I love all bulb plants. However, we are from the Mojave Desert area of California. Any bulb flowers I got were from the store for my anniversary. We moved to Idaho 10 years ago but have been renting houses since then. I love that whatever house I was in random bulb flowers would come up. I never had to plant them because they were already there. We finally bought a house and I would like to plant some bulbs now that we are in it. I don't have the 8-12 weeks for them to chill. Can you buy them at a nursery already chilled? Again I'm new to all of this because everything burns and dies in the Mohave except cactus, roses, tumble weeds, and tomatoes. :)

I love the hyacinth planters! I really hope they turn out good. they'll smell amazing in your kitchen. I tried a clear bulb planter a couple years ago and the roots took over the rocks and it didn't look that great, but maybe you put enough rocks in to keep the roots hidden.
I am also curious about your candles, I've seen them in several of your videos and it makes me think your house smells wonderful

Great video, but betta are tropical fish and need to be in a heated tank. You also must have a filter to help support the nitrogen cycle (otherwise you have nothing to remove the ammonia from the fish waste and excretions from the gills. Temps for a betta should be between 80F to 84F, and please put a lid on the tank since betta are natural jumpers. No less than a 5 gallon tank!

Do you have a place to ask questions? My question is: do you use bagged potting soil? If so, what kind? I mean for your bulbs and planters, not for succulents and orchids where you need special soil. I've been really unhappy with the Miracle Gro potting soil I've used for years. It seems to have no nutrients and I've got to find something better. Thank you!

Hi Laura, was just watching your video about planting hyacinth in low container. I want to do that to get blooms by Easter. Do I need to buy hyacinth bulbs now and keep in fridge? I noticed at Lowes and Home Depot that they have bulbs in stock, so thinking I need to buy now?

How do I search for the AFTER pictures of all these forced bulb projects? I also wanted to see the Hyacinths (with little bunny figures) you forced back in JANUARY 2020 in the cloche/bird cage looking pots. Thanks. Yes, I am new. Been binge watching so many, hahaha!

Xoxo, I think ur bulbs will turn out fine so that you'll enjoy. I did some a few years back an love them. But the bad thing about Wyoming weather is when I transplanted them out side the wind blew them sideways and alover. So bedtime I'll jus keep them inside
