Don't discard the beet and pea thinnings. They're delicious! Also, try seed tapes for teeny seeds like carrots and lettuce instead of traditional seed packets. Thinning carrots can be a royal pain, but the tape has everything spaced perfectly already!

Those young pea sprouts you tinned out? Did you knew they taste like peas and are yummy to ad in any green salad or on a sandwich? They are healthy to eat and look great too. So next time keep them for supper.
