16 Hardy Hydrangea Varieties
video description
I 'very had some trouble getting this true blue hydrangea to prosper & bloom. The first small blue blooms came and went in a few days and we placed it in a large planter with the proper soil and drainage as prescribed to helplessly. Much later what it appeared like a limelight came out in July, bloomed into dark mauve and has already faded into an antique looking pale mauve and cream.
color over just one week. Any help?
I would love a larger hydrangea of in the changing reds to place in the the front of my home under a window for privacy and Accent taupe and White House
I think that would be beautiful with just a Cottage garden in front. What do you think Teacher?

Thank you so much! I watched this video a year ago and watched again tonight to help me get closer to a decision. Im planning on transplanting my 3 gorgeous Limelights(6-8ft tall) this fall. Hope they make the transplant. I prune them back every year but they keep blocking 2 front bedroom windows. We have a orange/red brick house and I really like white but also like the pinks. Im thinking of Incrediball 4-5 ft or Bobo 2-3ft. Also considering Little Quickfire 3-5ft. Lots of decisions.

I live in the hot New Mexico desert and would love to plant some hydrangeas in a part shade area. There are some new varieties now but Im worried about them not being able to take the heat. Do you have any experience or knowledge on quick fire fab or pinky winky at their tolerance to heat? I know you mention limelight or lime light fab as a good option for heat but concerned that it seems a lot of reviewers says it wont bloom till August.

I love all types of beautiful hydrangeas. I am located in zone 9b. I had a fresh cut white hydrangea from the supermarket. It was fragrant and had no idea what it was called. Currently, I have them four in pots, two purplish blue, one pink, and one lime light. I thought my purplish blue were dieing, but they bloomed green leaves I hope they will continue to look healthy and flowers.

What is the difference between Pink Annabelle and Ruby Annabelle? Which one is more deep pink or red? I prefer the deep colour. Would be appreciate if you can answer my question. Unfortunately the Mini Mauvette is the deepest colour of them, but not offered in Germany

Hi, I have several but my favourite one is the Annabelle. To save it growing totally out of hand I am thinking of pruning it back. Will it tolerate a hard prune in spring please? I'm in England so we have seasons. Thank you.

Question: Pope John Paul hybrid tea rose, how would you go about pruning it? It is May the 5th 2022, and it doesn't look very good, and it's got a lot of suckers, but surprisingly it's going to bloom. HELP!
