leave the concrete pad and put a beautiful verdigris pot with a tall topiary on the pad, is a suggestion. This house and your designs are beautiful. I love your videos, they have sure helped me in my garden. I am a hobbyist with no formal training and I watch all of your videos. Thanks so much for the inspirational ideas! And oh-by-the-way, I hateprivet too. so this project is very appealing!

Could keep the concrete pad and put a bird bath on it and but up the landscaping around it.
I love it. I'm so excited for you!
Came back for my fix! I've been listening to podcasts lately lost my time with those!
Hubs started a near tradition to give me a new hydrangea every year for Valentines day and that spring bug has bit me! So eager for more color and warmer days!

Laura I'm sitting here watching enjoying and just about the time I started wondering what kind of cutters you were using you showed me. you got a lot more balanced appearance now and I can see your reason for the excitement. if the boys who moved the AC used adequate insulation on the refrigerant line then you should not see a decrease in efficiency of the unit. best 2U. :)

I am so happy that you were able to take out that hedge! It has been bugging me from the first time you showed it to us. I especially hated where it grew over the sidewalk. Totally understand your frustration with it and thrilled you got to get rid of it. It makes me feel good just watching this video. Snowbound here at the moment and am gardening through you. Thank you.

Everything looks more balanced. What a huge space that was taking up. I think something whimsical should sit in there. Some type of statue that would make you smile or chuckle it doesn't have to be big. Something that could nestle in there among the plants but could easily see when walking by.

Wow its so open, light and airy now! Question? Do you not like privet or was it just in that location? Im looking into large living privacy screen options, and privet was on my list. Tall, dense, and skinny is what Im looking for. Do you have suggestions? (Im zone 8)

How refreshing! I know how exciting this type of change can be! Exciting enough to go out and freeze your fingers to get it done. Ha! Am excited to see what you do with it.
We had 5-6 snow over here in Gresham this week so slowed things down a few days.

You're so cute and it's fun to see you so excited. We're expecting another 14-16 of snow in the next 24-36 hours, so seeing you get do do some outdoor things is so nice! Sooo looking forward to May, when I can get out to SAFELY do some flowers.

How exciting! Oh my goodness, it looks soooo much better! So excited to see you take that down. A pencil poin juniper or something like this it's less than 1 foot in diameter and about 6feet tall. Can't wait to see what you do there.
