Landscape Makeover Part 4 of 4: Planting Annuals and Containers! Garden Answer wendyc: Hello Laura and Aaron, firstly thank you fir sharing your knowledge with us all, I am learning so much. I must say that for me, I bought my first house last year (it is my 38th move as I was in the military) I live alone and am a Nurse so very busy. After finding your videos I actually feel more knowledgeable and able to tackle all the different areas here. You have given me the ability to just 'start', now on my days off over the last month I have been tackling rocks, stones, slate, weeds etc, as I can now envisage what a garden can look like and actually feel able to achieve these enormous projects. Please never stop making these videos or I would be lost. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your friends are very lucky to have you both, their garden looks absolutely beautiful. It's so fun seeing different styles of gardens. Cottage/modern/formal/white flowers only---these all give so many ideas for our own gardens. I watch your videos, and my husband and I are watching the British Garden Rescue shows. Combining what we learn from both sources, we have been able to make great headway on our blank slate front and back yards.
Excellent explanations, Laura, and excellent video footage, Aaron!

The garden is gorgeous! And their home is adorable! Totally off topic, but, could you ask them the name of the beautiful blue paint on the front of the house? I have a similar brick house in Minnesota and I would LOVE to paint my sun room addition that color. :)

I've enjoyed the 4 part series and appreciate how much instruction you have given. I feel more confident to tackle laying down a watering system now. It makes more sense to me which steps to do when and how to organise myself and equipment I need. Thank you.

Im always trying to figure out sun, part sun, part shade, shade. The beautiful yarrow you have says full sun but that location doesnt appear to look like a 6hr sunny location? How will it do there? Thx, love your style and straightforward presentation. :)

This was such a helpful and thorough series for us beginners. And I love what you said about attacking it in phases based on your budget. Thats kind of where we are right now because were also looking at getting new windows for the house. Hoy!

I have a question! A little dumb. I'm sorry in advance.
But what happens to the holes you put the annuals next year? The annuals won't be there anymore. What if they want a different annual with different size and growing habits?
