Decorating our Outdoor Fireplace for Fall! Garden Answer Holly: Oh my goodness Laura you have such a natural knack for decorating and making anything beautiful. I really love this area it has such a fall vibe and I can only imagine how much fun it must be to enjoy this area when it's cold and have a warm cozy fire. You are so lucky that your temperatures are still enjoyable, I live in Idaho and it has been bitter cold, and the other day it rained and then snowed, it has melted and is just cold, with the highs no more than mid 50's and the lows below 25 and one day dropping to 19. This was such a fun video that makes me want to decorate more but still keep in mind that where I live it will probably freeze. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful video, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, bye for now.

Hi Laura,
This looks amazing. Have you ever tried making wreaths using dried dusty miller? I am going to dry some for the first time and am looking forward to using it in a really cool container idea for winter. Your gomphrena wreath idea got me to thinking about how gorgeous dusty miller would be.
Thanks for all the amazing content and Aaron (spelling, your editing and filming are on point! (And your summer containers were great- gonna do a sedum one just like yours but with vertigo pennecetum in the center!

Great use of everything! Beautiful design and fall coziness Love the pop of color from the black pillows on the chairs too. Love the use of the fancy dishes for smores! So sweet! Love the reminder to watch for for sales especially on the material. What a nice idea to make it more cozy by the fire by adding the texture of the table cloth - pretty one you received as a gift too! Enjoy and thanks so much for sharing your great ideas and video.

Fall pruning- when (and how ) do you cut back your roses, butterfly bushes, roses of sharon, hydrangeas, etc? Im in zone 9a. Also how should I store my daffodils, tulips, dahlias, etc and when do I replant? Too cold here to over winter the dahlias and too warm for most bulbs to really perform. LOVE your Q&A videos! So helpful! Thanks!

Looks just lovely. Question and comment on future plants. Not sure but havent seen and wonder if you would plant pampas grass or sumac for height and decorating? Flowering pink almond bush for spring color and tobacco plant for summer because they are fun and smell great and trumpet fine? So enjoy all you do.

About that gourd you don't remember planting. I was watching a video from P. Allen Smith about pumpkins and he said if you plant more than one variety of pumpkin in the same area, the bees can cross pollinate them, so that gourd may be a mix between two, and that could be why you don't remember planting it.

Aaron needed his drone to get over the top of that dried arrangement at 8: 00! Lol! Just kiddin'! It's all beautiful and inviting, and I love it! Especially love how proud you are of what you grew and are now putting to use. Romancing the ordinary with the s'mores tray. pretty cool, too!

What a great fire place, I can just imagine sitting there and visiting and drinking coffee with a big beautiful fire going. I would love to see some soft blankets so you could cuddle up the fire: ) all of you squash and pumpkins look beautiful too: )

I like your mega grass display but, personally I find it too huge for that table. But I guess if you are using the area you can remove it from the table. I am completely jealous of your fireplace area though. You are very blessed, and I am glad for you!

Suggest you do a video on how you winterize your drip system. Have installed one and love how it takes care of watering all summer. Now it is time to put it to bed. Garden in zone 4 on the East coast of Canada. Absolutely love your inspiring videos.
