It was a bad idea. Garden Answer Desiree: So theres already a membership option? Can you point me to that, Laura? Because just this week you have saved me at least $100 from your Gorilla cart review. And I know people hate the idea of paying for content when theyve been getting it for free, even though it sounded like you were going to do a slice of content that would later be available for all and then use that money for others. I wonder if you could create some exclusive, limited time only merchandise that could fund your charitable projects? Like a calendar from the photos of your garden? Or team up with a planter designer or succulent grower, then make a special video project with that pot or plants? Im sure that would be complex. but something to think about.

Hi Laura & Aaron! Love all your videos, especially when your precious Benjamin makes an appearance! He's a doll baby! My question is you talk about supertunia (sp) what is the difference between those and regular petunias? You also mentioned you don't have to deadhead them? I've never heard of them, but petunias are my favorite outdoor flowers, and I enjoy deadheading them. It's cathartic for me! Lol Strange I know. But just curious what the difference is. Thanks for all the knowledge you share, I enjoy my uninterrupted time of binge watching Garden Answer! Keep up the great work!

My husband and I married in 1995 and we wanted a real tree for our first Christmas. As we were taking it down to discard it we found a tiny pinecone nestled in one of the branches. That pinecone has been on our tree every year since. I attached a piece of wire to make a loop and added a tiny gold ribbon flower. It is tradition. And I get sentimental every single year as my husband hangs it front and center near the top of the tree. I think nostalgia is what Christmas is all about. Keep your angel. She looks beautiful sitting at the top of that tree!

Learn something new everyday. I had no idea that lotus pods would be triggering to some people as a pattern phobia. I have known a few people who see lotus pods and it makes them think of things like beehives, wasp nests, or the frogs that carry eggs on their bags. That can weird out some people. I love all the crazy, weird things in nature, so it doesn't bother me at all. I actually really love lotus pods because it reminds me of home. The lake near my childhood home would bloom in summer with American lotus.

I've made orange and clove pomanders for years. They keep beautifully and the cloves act as wicks to pull the orange fragrance to the surface. I love to see them hiding in my china cups in the cupboard during the year. For straight lines, I have used 1/4 masking tape that I use for hand quilting straight lines. A roll of it lasts a long time. I think JoAnns carries it. And for stubborn holes, I use a sharp nail to make a hole in the rind.

Long time viewer. Now I'm a new member. And I don't want any perks. I want you to do whatever you want with it, because it's yours. My family is NOT rich, definitely within the poverty line area. But I can survive with one less Starbucks a month to say thank you for how much joy and life you bring to me and the rest of the community. You guys are awesome. Thank you so so so much.

Good morning from Texas! In the last video where youre spraying the wilt stop by the house, do you have a residue on the house or ground floor from over spray? And wondering if you could spray a fresh Christmas tree and make it last longer. wondering if theres any fire hazard with wilt stop. Keep up the good work. and stay away from the networks. Youre doing to good of a job.

Hi there Laura, I just wanted to say I hope you use the Lotus Seed Pods in an upcoming craft video. I think they are really beautiful, and I can't wait to see what artistic creation you could make with then. If you're worried about their look being off putting to some, you can always put a trigger warning in the title. Happy Holidays!

To Patricia Doyle: a few weeks ago I finally ordered a bag of composting worms from Uncle Jim's Worm Farm and was so pleased with the quality of the product. I ordered 1000 worms and wish I had ordered more. The worms quickly worked their way into the mulch in my beds and are probably already helping to mix the mulch into the soil.

It was and is a great idea, maybe a better delivery would have helped, who knows. I know it must be frustrating to poor your passion for helping other and getting other encouraged to join in only to have such a stark response. You handled it with grace. Keep doing you and what you know is right!
