Winter Watering Schedule? What Does Indirect Sunlight Mean? Weekly Recap! Garden Answer Jasmine: Loved The Office reference, my fav! Can you provide any tips on how to map out a garden? We just bought a home on 2. 5 acres in March and are really starting from scratch With a blank slate in terms of landscaping, aside from one flower bed. Our home is north-facing. Any suggestions on where to start? Trees, beds, shrubs, structures like arbors/statues? I want it all of course but having trouble prioritizing for this Spring

I've been stalking my newly planted trees. A few years back, I planted a tree and didn't notice as it was establishing, the winds were moving it around. My dog ended up chewing the tree. Anyway, I do stake rather stake for a few years to stabilize the tree in its initial phase where it is establishing itself and have a nice straight tree, rather than not or growing a leaning tree.

Hi, Laura, I love these weekly recap videos. I have a question about they Gardener's Supply grow light systems you have behind you here. I'm planning to buy one and am wondering if you have the two or three light per shelf system? I will probably get the two light one, but just wondering what you have and if you have any experience comparing the two to the three light one? Thanks!

I would like it if you took your time with the greenhouse plants and did a time lapse video, from what they look like now and why, and a few times til they're ready for the garden. I've planted trees in round holes for 40 yrs, and, I don't dig it but 4 - 5 bigger then the roots, I also start with smaller trees tho, and I haven't had any problems. Hope I didn't just jinx myself.

I am a newbie to actual gardening etc. Would you mind sharing part of your planning process? I recently bought a new home (for me) and it didn't have any sort of landscape structure, so I am starting really from bare bones once we have a couple hardscapes removed. I have all kinds of idea's but no way of knowing where to start or establish a guide.

I love the baby blue spruce and all of your blue spruces on your property. They all look so healthy! I've been noticing here in Maryland, so many blue spruces look terrible (diseased or lots of dead looking branches. Is it our humidity causing issues or are there more disease resistant varieties available?

Hi Laura and Aaron! I always look forward to these Monday recap videos. It's a great way to address the many questions you get. I would like a cold frame and houseplant tour, too. I'm looking forward to al of the projects you have planned. Thank you for sharing!

I really find videos useful when your plants look like mine. that is helpful. So dirt in a pot is good. if yours look like mine then I don't worry if you don't worry. hope that makes sense. SO YES bring on the tour of dormant/out of season sad looking plants!

I agree with everyone. I would watch a video of paint drying if you did it so yes. I would love a video of your cold frame and house plants. Also, I honestly think you hardly ever get sick because you are a positive happy person and appear to love life: )

Laura, will you be doing a video of seed starting some of the seeds you've been ordering? Between you and the Impatient Gardener this morning, I've had some good laughs. Did you see her seed organization containers? Thanks for all you do for all of us!
