I want to say first, I kinda put you on blast on fb. I told friends you will have folks risking it all in a garden center! thank you so much for your all your hard work and efforts. Because of you I finally started a flower container garden on my back porch and love every minute of it! I try to follow what you do but I know I've probably stumbled as I planted but the process is awesome! You did a purple shade container, now I'm on the hunt for a Japanese fern. lordy help me. All my quarantine money might end up in containers! Thank you again!

I know this is an older video. But I want to add my thoughts on the container videos. I LOVE THEM. Ive got a fairly large yard, about 1. 5 acres. But I plant an ever increasing number of containers too. They add beauty to my deck & structure to my gardens. Unlike my garden beds that need time to fill in & mature, containers give me instant gratification. Seeing all the possibilities of plant combinations & designs never fails to inspire me. Please never stop making them! And yes, I use the Laura method & jam loads of plants into my containers

My husband and I have a John Deere tractor like yours. We own a tree service and use it to move logs with a set of pallet forks. They work great to move large rocks and garden pots too. The forks can be moved closer together or farther apart. You may want to consider the pallet fork attachment for your new tractor. It is much safer than trying to put everything in the bucket and you won't need a pot cart. One more justification for the Deere! Thanks for all your videos! I really enjoy watching them in my downtime!

Have you done, or could you do a video like one of your 'top 10' videos on your favorite perennials for rock gardens? I live in a zone 4 where we get a ton of wind and so all of my future beds already have river rock in place. I'm new to gardening in general and am completely overwhelmed by the amount of selection that is out there. I stumbled across one of your videos a month or so ago, and have learned so much from you already as I continue to watch your videos. Thanks for what you do!

I LOVE YOUR CONTAINERS. Because of your videos on those containers I have expanded my container game on my front porch and grown bolder on looking for things to do around my yard. In other words I am grateful for the containers because I love buying pots every where I go but I have an issue with not knowing what to do with them. ALSO it slowed if not stopped me from buying the expensive pre put together things and I have more pride in doing it myself now.

I recently came across a tree peony at my local garden center and had not heard of them before. When I came home to look up online, I found an old video of you planting one. Can you give an update on yours? I don't remember ever seeing it in your garden or hearing you talk about it. Would love to see how it's progressed and hear what your experience has been with it. I'm quite familiar with regular peonies, but am curious about the tree variety.

I loved hearing the rain. It's been raining a lot here in the SF bay area, too. I had commented earlier on how I loved the editing and didn't realize that you had someone else do it besides Aaron. It's great to know that you don't do it all. You both do a wonderful job of parenting, gardening, etc. but it's good to hear that you, too, need help. Love your videos and love your gardens. Can't wait to see what you do with the new area.

Oh Laura, youre so wise to know that you should use equipment instead of your body to lift and move things. My parents ranch and although they have equipment, they did so many things by hand throughout their lives and their joints are worn out, accompanied by pain. Im so glad you and Aaron know that letting the machinery do the heavy work is the way to go! Didnt mean to make that rhyme. Lol. Congratulations on the tractor

What rules are there in gardening. I have never ever heard of rules in any type of garden you are trying to produce. I love all your suggestions and tips and tricks that you share with us. These have helped me with my customers in the nursery that I work in. Thank you, thank you. I have to agree with those whom have said throw out those rules. Keep up the these videos I love them.
