With so much beauty going on outside of your home, and the amount of work it would take for projects and maintenance, when do you fit in all the inside chores like meals, laundry, housecleaning. that's a big house to match the big grounds and gardens. Do you ever get behind or feel overwhelmed? When do you sleep? Do you sleep! :) Are you early to bed, early to rise kind of people? Would be interested in a day in the life of video, in the different seasons.

These turned out so beautiful can't wait to see them full. I love nasturtiums they are my favorite seed plant. When I planted some from seed they grew so fast. Have you've ever heard of a vine called Spanish flag vine? I think you would love them. They bloom early autumn and the color is amazing these are also grown from seed cause I've never seen anyone sell them at a nursery but they also grow as fast as morning glories. You can find them online.

Hi Laura! 2 questions I hope make your Q&A video but have nothing to do with this one 1. Did your sprinter boxwoods actually hold their green color all through the winter? 2. Just curious why you have switched from saying Alyssum to Lobularia. noticed the change and thought Id ask. Yes - you have followers who listen to every word! Booked my package to the Grand Garden Show months ago to see you. Fingers crossed it is still on

Laura, will you try to overwinter some canna tubers in your garden as an experiment? I hear of success stories in zone 6 gardens and it would be fun to try. I know they are hardy zones 7+ (we had some in our old garden in zone 7 and they naturalized great. Can you also do an update + care video on your agapanthus? Also on the new property would you consider and experimental garden for zone 6/7 plants?

Laura, love your videos and have learnt SO much from you. This container though pretty, I felt the colors clashed too much. The beauty of each color was clashing with the other. The gorgeous Canna color was lost. Curious what you think - are there max number of colors to do when it comes to container? Trying to understand and learn more, not trying to be a critic here - hope you understand. Thanks!

Absolutely gorgeous, but I do feel a little bit sorry for the nasturtiums. Tucked in there between the bordeaux and the sweet potato vine, it doesn't stand a chance. Those plants are beasts! Maybe it will be rescued and planted somewhere where it can shine once these two beautiful bullies start to take over. Right now though, the urns look stunning. Great entrance! Lisa

Love the Cannas! I was wondering if they will crazy multiply in the landscape? I figure they are probably annuals in your area. The website said hardiness zones 8 - 11 and Im in a zone 8. I remember my grandmother having them next to her house and within a few years they were a huge patch! They basically took over the flowerbed where she had planted them.

Hi Laura! Do you have suggestions for winter interest in a shade garden? (Im in zone 9. I have two areas where Im creating new beds and one gets pretty much full shade/dappled sun and the other receives about 3 hours of sun and shade the remainder of the day. Also any suggestions for vining plants for both areas? Thank you for all the info you share!

Laura when you start spraying for budworms would you please put the whole process in a video? I am afraid I will not do it right and am actually not sure what the right way is-how much of the plant to cover because the supertunias are massive. Especially the ones I planted in the ground. BTW, I find those awful budworms in my cannas as well.
