those look amazing! i love the colors, and the pop of the pink geranium in the center really works well! ah, budworms. i lost my limoncello last year before i knew what was happening so i took your advice and now i keep mine treated for budworms, too. how can such tiny green worms do so much damage! love the way Benjamin is helping you out in the garden now - isn't it great to have a gardening buddy? they just don't seem to be able to make it through the whole project though, hahaha. i miss my my gardening buddy granddaughter, sigh. pandemic be gone! hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday weekend! thanks for the video!

I love watching your videos. You do such an amazing job. I live in Central Florida and am constantly reminded by gardeners around here that petunia's don't do well in our area (during summer) and I just don't understand why. They say it gets too hot but I see that you mention temps around 100 where you are so the only difference I can think is our humidity. Do you think it really is a heat issue or maybe just a watering issue? Do you think they will thrive through our summers if I made sure to keep them watered more often?

i had better luck in terms of getting new blooms on geraniums when you simply break them off instead of cutting. grab the stalk between thumb and index finger, follow the bloomstalk down to the plant until you feel a little knot and slightly bend it away from the plant. it will almost come off on its own. regarding the fullness of the containers it will decrease the chance of any fungal infection as well if you use a natural breaking point

Hear Hear! This is a year when I've really paid attention to fertilizing and I have been alternating between liquid and Flower tone about every 10 days and wow, my flowers have never looked better at this point in the summer. I will never not fertilize again. After putting all that time and $$ into planting it seems crazy that I have not been fertilizing very good in past years. I'm a believer now!

I love the geraniums in there, they really break up the supertunias and give subtle structure. They get a bit of a bad rep in the UK for being old-fashioned but I love them. I got some new ones this year with 4 colour variegation on the leaves, green, white, yellow and purple. They're incredible! I don't even know what colour the flowers are yet, I bought them purely for the foliage.

Over here in the Willamette Valley, I'm getting a bunch of budworm damage on my petunias. You said you use BT weekly. Would it be possible for you to show us how you treat the petunias? The actual spraying /treating. I'm a visual learner and dislike reading instructions, but I'd love to watch a demo of the treatments. Thank you, love your videos.

Do some supertunias grow in a more mounded shape than others? My supertunia silveryberry has more of a flat wave shape instead of mounding up and down the sides of the planter. Still pretty and full of blooms but I wish it had the beautiful shape the ones in your containers have!

The containers both you and Aaron have done are beautiful. I have been anxiously waiting and hoping you will plant and give updates on the Aqua Pots. They are not yet available in Utah and I would like to learn about your experiences with them and any tips you might have.
