Decorating for Fall at a Local Non-Profit! Garden Answer sj: How beautiful and such a wonderful organization. In our town we have the Pioneer Relief Nursery. same idea. The hospital renovated a huge clinic and grounds and donated it, plus the continuing upkeep etc. This year they were in the works for putting in a garden for the children and parents to grow and work/play/harvest together. Didn't quite work this year but it's in the plans! Thank you for lending your talent and time to such wonderful causes.

Hi Laura and Aaron! What a thoughtful and loving thing for you to do! I'm sure that everyone will enjoy what you did so much. Your community is so lucky to have you living there and sharing your talents. I agree, you added just the right amount of pumpkins with the crates and the wreath looks nice where you put it. The containers turned out so pretty! Thank you so much for sharing this!

You are such a blessing! It looks great! Regarding the cornstalks, if you do end up needing to tie them to the beam, you should use thick fishing line. It works great and is virtually invisible! I use that stuff for everything! Any time I need to tie something up in my garden, its my go to. Stay safe, and thanks for all that you do!

What a wonderful project! You have a heart of gold! It looks beautiful! I saw a wreath today with sunflowers in it. I was wondering if you have ever done a wreath with sunflowers. Is it possible to do one with just sunflowers? I bet that would be pretty. Especially with all of the varieties you planted this year. Just a thought.

Loved your pumpkin and squash patch. So happy when I see how you share your life. The plants are a result of hard work, yes. But I believe your sweet nature and kindness are blessed by the results we see on camera. Thank you for sharing and giving your audience wonderful ideas.

Everyone is going to love this. You will get rave reviews and many thanks for sure. It is fun to watch and get ideas from others as well. Plants and decorations like this always brighten someone's day even if they are not really into gardening. It is the thought that counts!

This is so sweet of you. I feel it is really uplifting to see flower arrangements and you are so very good at it, what about a no bother, long-lasting succulent arrangement for inside to lift everyone's spirits when they go in? Love what you did on the outside! Beautiful!

Thank you for doing this! The children who are going there are going through a very rough and scary time in their life, thank you for making that space fun, warm and welcoming for them! It looks lovely and truly will bring a bit of joy to their lives

Deep red/burgundy Mums is all thats missing. It's beautiful but looks kind of colorless. Maybe when the flowers grow they will add more color. Wonderful for you guys to do. I agree it's always good to help others, do something nice for someone.

if the children's agency would allow it and it would be appropriate I would suggest they pick some kids to help you plant and decorate. I think it would be therapeutic for the kids. They could admire the decorations and say, I did that!
