Installing a Soil Heat Cable & Super Hoops + Planting Nearly 1, 000 Tulip Bulbs in Raised Beds! Inez: Laura. This video is a Garden Answer to my garden needs! We live in the Central Valley, the fruit basket of the World. We are a zone 9, 9a, 9b. We get the heat you get, The wind you get and the frost. No snow for us, we are in the foothills with the citrus. So these heating elements, small hopes with frost covers are a great answer! In the past, we worked hard to make our own. Thank you!
We are meeting with a landscape de. signer tomorrow, Sat, We requested gravel and raised beds. so I hope I can share with you soon.

Hi Laura! OMGolly Russell is too funny! Your time doing that one bed would have been cut down a lot without your helper. LOL! It was good seeing Cheddar, too. I hope the experiment with the soil heat cables and hoops work for the leafy greens. It's too bad the cables aren't battery operated, or solar powered. I wouldn't be able to do this in our beds because we don't have an electrical source any where near them. It will be nice for you to be able to have tulips for cutting next year. Thank you so much for sharing!

A coupla things. First, Russell makes an excellent supervisor! I love that you're patient and affectionate with him when he's being an 'absolute pill'. The LOLs I get from him make for a very enjoyable video: -) And secondly, I so much appreciate your spirit of trying things you're not certain of. I have to do that a lot in my tiny space and find that experiments, pro or con, always turn out to be at least informative and interesting. Tks for the vid.

are you not concerned about breathing that Bio Tone dust while you are pregnant? That always worries me when I see that cloud of fertilizer around you. and your babe. I cannot wait to see all of those tulips in bloom. also I hope you do not dig in cat litter areas while you are pregnant. see - seems like most address the dam cat, but I worry for the Babe Laura is carrying. love from Canada

Best Russel video ever! I swear, Benjamin is more independent than Russel. I wonder if the Super Hoop would work as a support for floppy plants like Glads. I have suspicions that the top part will fly off first wind storm you get. Bricks sound good but in practice often fail. I know this from experience.

OMG If i was a cat. I would be Russell! My daughter just moved out and took her /my precious kitty with her. I sure do miss the mischevious nature of a cat and all the purrs. SO yes! I would be Russell If i was cat! Love that baby and all he is in the nature of a cat!

Thank you for explaining the super hoops. I clicked on your vid specifically for that instruction actually LOL. I just got some and the paper directions were a little funky. But I enjoyed the rest of your video, too, and that Russell, what a cute stinker!

One of my favorite parts of all your recent videos is seeing your baby bump! You usually have a coat or black shirt on so it is hard to see. It's making it real that a new little one will be joining the crew. So exciting!

Am I the only one that hates Russell's interruptions? I would mucho rather see Benjamin interrupting than the cat. It seems to me that she has more patience towards that cat. Sorry but to me it is to much Russell on the videos.

Oh Russell - you are such a Bum! You must be related to my Garden Buddy - Mr. Fritz! But really Laura, digging in dirt? Playing with string? Creating a warm spot? I dont think hes the bad guy - just sayin
