We are in zone 9b down here in Phoenix, Az and I believe I want to try a couple of these babies!
We have the ability to plant in an orchard that has many micro climates ranging from full shade and full sun. It is on well irrigation and we get that 2x a month in late spring through summer then 1x a month in winter.
Because it is hot as hades here for months in summer i think i will put it in an area that will give it the amount of sun it needs but not foe 16 hrs like we get here in my area. Lol

This may be a silly question, but Im just learning. Anybody can answer. I know she talked a little bit about the pot size and filling it with soil for root growth, and my first question was what else would you put at the bottom if not soil? And second, I thought that if you put a plant in a pot more than 2 to 4 inches wider it could become shocked when transplanted and not do well. Is that wrong, or does it depend on the plant?

ok, I have been wondering now for awhile; hoping you would follow up with whatever resulted in the neighbor moving the RV. I totally sympathize with the effort it takes to make such an ask, but I haven't seen the RV in the background and was wondering if you helped move the storage garage or if they just understood and moved it after you asked?
Love your videos and have learned so much from watching your family grow and share!

I was so intrigued by these plants when you bought them that I went and looked them up right away. Then I called around to see if I could get a hold of one of the Yezberry varieties. I was able to find a greenhouse that could order some for me. They come in next month and I am so very excited to try them. Blueberries are my favorite fruit but hard to grow so I look forward to trying the Yezberries.

Curious about planting zones. I understand the low number has to do with the cold tolerance of the plant but what about the higher number? You said that the honeyberries are a zone 3-7. I live in a zone 8. Would they work in the Pacific Northwest? Thanks for all of the wonderful videos! I have learned so much!

These shrubs are so neat to tuck into flower beds around your house because they are small enough. Do they have good autumn color? Will you have to put bird netting over them when the berries are starting to grow? We have a blueberry bush and the birds eat the berries before they are even half ripe. :(

I had never heard of Honeyberries before. Hopefully I can find it locally. Kroger, Lowes and Home Depot have a limited supply of Proven Winners plants and my local garden center isn't much better. I live in South West Washington and tempted to make the 5 hour drive to your parents garden center.

Im interested to see how they do for you. I had two haskap varieties (in Canada) for five or six years and never got many berries. And the birds usually ended up getting those. One plant large and the other stayed small. Perhaps I didnt prune enough, or properly.
