Doing a Little Outdoor Christmas Decorating! Garden Answer Angela: Laura Benjamin is just the kindest smartest sweetest young man did I do believe that I have seen. You have certainly raised quite the gentlemen and handyman is definitely his mother's and father son, precious is what he is you are truly so blessed.
We enjoy your content but we certainly enjoy your family more it's such a joy to watch your family grow and your children grow up before I arrived thank you for allowing us to see that
Laura I was thinking the colored lights were traditional when we were going up and you are carry that tradition giving this to your children and watching Benjamin he certainly enjoyed the lights so I think it was rather sweet watching him get a kick out of the colored lights himself. It was just so sweet watching him he is such a darling.

Such a sweet video. Your little helpers (Russell and Benjamin) are adorable. The trees turned out so darn cute. I love the Cardinals on the branches as well. Very organic and totally pretty creations. Nice job. Thanks for explaining why no fine garland on the pathway to the door, I was wondering. Your home is just fantastic. To you and your beautiful family---a very Merry Christmas and I wish good health, happiness and prosperity for you and those you love in the coming year and beyond.

Love the cardinals, they add such a sweetness to the decorations. The bird on the magnolia pillow looks like a female rose breasted grosbeak bird. The other pillow has a black topped chickadee. I love the birds added to your decorations! I've used bird ornaments for years on my Christmas tree. It adds such a beautiful simplicity and sweetness to it.

So beautiful Laura, love watching you and your fabulous ideas! I have a few questions about the cut trees in the pots. How long will they last? Do you water them? Will they root so you can plant them after the holidays or do you just throw them out? Thanks.

I think the wreath would look beautiful on the barn
Laura do you use real wreaths or artificial cause they look so real
Love the cardinals on the branches everything is looking so festive
I. love that idea of twinkle lights on the cypress trees

I went ahead and bought branches with white led lights that twinkle for my porch pots and they look wonderful. Ive been foraging for pine cones around my neighborhood to cover the soil. Thank you for the great ideas for decorating! Benjamin is the cutest

Anyone know what Laura does with the trees she has planted in the containers post winter? I am wondering if they go in the landscape or continue to stay in pots. I would love to borrow the idea if I can use it for a few years straight!

I also nested a tree in containers because I saw you do it. are you worried about them dying? Or do you just water them as normal? Someone told me they would die since they need to sit in water and I have them sitting in potting soil

Really enjoyed this video. So simple yet really great pops of colour. The trees look great and love the birds in the pots. The children will love them. Lovely, pretty porch.
Good work. Merry Christmas to all.

The cardinals are beautiful. The custom rails are amazing. Have you ever considered painting the stairs white so they would fade into the background and allow the railings to pop even more?
