Succulents in a Lightbulb! Garden Answer Kathy: I work at a food and water testing laboratory. We use pipettes and they work out great in the terrarium etc. You can practice with a long thin straw - put the straw into a glass of water put your finger over the top end and when you lift it out of the water the straw will stay filled. Then all you have to do is take it to where you want to water something and slowly release your finger from the top end.

Would you guys do a Recommended Book List video?
Im sitting here reading Landscaping with Fruit by Lee Reich and wondered if there were any particular books, websites, etc. that you would recommend (in general or for specific types of gardening. Either recommend or just really like.
Keep up the awesome videos. They really do inspire, teach, and cause me to wish for more spending pocket money.

Without a doubt you are the best gardener on you tube. I have followed several but I always come back to you. You are very talented and so full of energy every single day! No one, young or older gardeners out does your creativity! Your home and garden is beautiful. Love how you stick with gardening and no fashion statements you know your place.
Youre the Best!

Loved this video! I have even more respect for your patience and can do attitude watching you place all the elements of this project. I thought you could water this arrangement with a straw. It would be narrow enough to fit through the neck and you could place droplets of water where you wanted them.

Super cute! Ive never used succulents in a terrarium because of moisture. I did just clean up and behead a bunch of succulents the other day and I planted them up in tiny demitasse cups that I drilled a hole in. They look really cute on my window sill.

If the turkey battery doesn't work I've used a long drinking straw that I put my finger on the top opening to close after I've dipped it into water. Then dribble it from straw into bulb.
Really cool to watch this, btw!

This is my favorite planting arrangement! What a great outcome. I don't do many house plants but I would be very keen to do this if I can find the right container. Thank you for incredible imagination.

Now that there are no videos on Saturday, I use it as a recap of my own. I rewatch every GA video of the week to be ready for the GA recap on Sunday. Saturdays are my GA marathon days!

Love this idea, but always worried on watering, I too use syringe but as per my experience with succulent in a terrarium, requires more frequent watering as compare to succulent in a pot.
