Decorating with the Antiques We Just Picked Up (+ a Few New Houseplants! Mobina: Love the way you brought new life to the corners. Thank you for sharing the fun of antiquing and decorating with it. I can see how the interior decor can have so much more character and charm, with these bits and bobs you collect on your many trips. Definitely inspires me to consider hitting some antique stores as well. Can you provide some tips on how to spot a good antique store? Are they always called an antique store? Does the quality of stuff vary on different trips, that is sometimes you find a lot of things and sometimes it isnt as impressive? Id love some pointers. Thanks!

The corner with the hutch looks good with all the plants, but has too many pictures on the wall. Also, the lamp is the wrong height. The whole corner needs editing. The two pictures on the window wall could go, as well as the lamp. It's good to remember that arranging furniture necessitates balancing furniture and space. But the corner with the two salmon colored chairs looks great. If you don't like the wall with the big mirror, try one piece that is vertically oriented. Loved the antiquing with your mom!

I love how you create vignettes with your discovered treasures! The hutch was made for that corner. I am curious about your watering schedule and care for the indoor plants. Do you water once a week? What about fertilizing? Perhaps you already have a video about houseplant care, if not maybe you can do a new video on the how to of houseplants. They surely add such a beautiful dimension to your already beautiful home.

Love the way you decorate! Had myself smiling while watching the close relationship you and your Mom share. you two just crack me up. you talk each other into shopping, snacking and just making your times together very special, joyful! Lots of little moments making BIG, beautiful memories! In a few years, you will have little Samantha Grace pointing out lovely antique finds too!

Hi Laura. I wanted to tell you something I learned the hard way. If your terra cotta saucers arent glazed the moisture will seep through and ruin the finish on your furniture. I couldnt tell if they were glazed or not but wanted to warn you about what happened to me. Would hate to see your beautiful new hutch get a mark in it. Love your videos!

Can you please give the spelling of that flower that you bought for Samanthas birthday? I bought my house 4 years ago and this plant is in the garden. It comes back every year but I dont know what its called. Its beautiful and Id like to have more of it. It doesnt seem to spread any larger than it was 4 years ago.

Sometimes, I just put your videos on for background noise while I draw. Your voice is so calming and filled with knowledge, sometimes I don't even need to see what you're talking about. Thank you for all the tips while I establish my first real garden.

What a treat to see how you used all of your new stuff in your BEAUTIFUL home! I think some self adhesive wall cover with the just right pattern would look lovely on the back of the gorgeous glass door hutch (behind the shelves. Thank you for sharing!
