Planting Climbing Roses in Obelisks, New Pineapple Lilies & Groundcover Shrubs! Could we take a peek at the rose already growing in the obelisk? I'm wanting to place a couple climbing roses in my yard on obelisks but can't decide if they would look appropriate. Of course, my yard doesn't have all the other beautiful trees, shrubs, etc, so it might look a little strange without something else highlighting it, but I can always move them. thanks.

Hello Laura and Aaron from Trinidad I'm Neil
The videos have basically become a part of my morning routine before work starts and I wanted to say thank you
I wanted to ask whatever happened to the weeping Lebanon Cedar and how's the rosella hibiscus coming along
Also on you variegated hoya kerrii if it's just a rooted leaf it won't grow only cutting with nodes on it will grow, I remembered you were asking your mom about that when she helped clean up the plants on the shelves.

if those pineapple lilies do well for you I will surly try to get my hands on them, I was just wondering do you ever get those days where you dont want to film or work in the gardens but would rather go do a long hike or bike ride with your family? you know do you ever get itchy feet for a change?

Laura, your obelisks reminded me of my brother-in-law who was a welder. He made beautiful iron garden structures which he gifted to family and friends. He passed many years ago but, his creative works live on in our gardens. I love the choice of the obelisk for the roses. Have a great day!

Where's Cheddar? Russell and Douglas have made their appearances but haven't seen him in awhile. Samantha is quite the little fashionista with her sunglasses looking so adorable! And of course the garden is looking great. Wish I could do the pineapple lilies but Zone 5 just won't do it

Good grief Laura, when Samantha was walking towards you on the path to the pond. she reminded me so much of your Mum. not just in looks but in other mannerisms as well. I suspect the sunnies, which were also reminiscent of your Mum's, helped the image, so fun. thanks for sharing x

Totally unrelated question. I planted several Quick Fire Hydrangeas two years ago and they have never bloomed. They have grown great and have beautiful leaves, but no flowers. I fertilized with Holly Tone because I had it and still nothing. Any advice?

Hi Laura, It's been a while since I have seen your videos lately. Work related issue. But OMG, your garden. breath taking and. Benjamin and Samantha they have grown. They look adorable. Can't wait to watch your videos. see you soon

Laura, lavender wisteria would be beautiful on your arched arbor walkway. You could even have purple clematis on each of the four corners of the arbor. Seeing the pond and a hint of the sunset is a perfect ay to end the day!

What is your secret with roses? I live in Zone 7b and so far I ve killed a rose tree, a drift rose, a knock out rose and a yellow rose that was passed down to me!
I want to grow them so bad but just don t have any luck!

Excellent design. I love what you and Aaron do. Your roses are so beautiful. Laura you need to start digging out and prune your sumac. We have them around our neighborhood. They can get out of control. They spread so fast.

I saw the pineapple lilies at the garden center too and planted some, praying they do well in in our Ohio zone 6 as well! I like the lava rock in the fire pit, more natural looking. Those Reminiscent roses are amazing!

Great video. I really like the new plants. The area around the pond looks so good. I love your pond. Sammatha Grace is a beauty and so cute, and Benjamin is so grown up and handsome. Have a blessed day everyone.

lol. Laura has been meaning to prune that sumac for weeks now. its comforting that her schedule of delay is something I can definitely identify with

The new fire's rock filler looks very appropriate for the pond area. What a great addition to your outdoor living space. Enjoy those cuties!

Gorgeous! Can you talk about what your ideas are for growing on the arbor over the pathway? Also - where is Cheddar?
