The people who were concerned about the pallet walkway rotting weren t wrong, they were just speaking from their own perspective, just like you speak from yours. People who garden in humid climates, who get regular rain, fundamentally don t understand arid climates, just like people who live in arid climates don t understand what it s like to have that humidity and rain, and its effect on the environment. They re two completely different realities, and you can t know until you live in and experience both of them.

One of the very first GA videos I watched was of you working around the chicken coop and the pallet walkway. It was so gorgeous and I was hooked for life. Feels like yesterday but it was when Benjamin was still tiny and Samantha wasn't even a twinkle in Aaron's eye yet Have spent so much time since then following the progress in your garden and watching your family grow.

I really like it when you rejuvenate areas of the garden. That is the real side of the gardening process; it's not just about plunking in thousands of dollars worth of plants, and it takes a critical eye and skill. I think you could have demonstrated dividing the brunneras and basket of gold to show us how to get more plants from what you already have.

There is something about seeing you clean-up and maintain your garden that fills me with motivation and energy to tackle all my to-do's Laura! It's always such a satisfying result at the end oh my word! Quick question: do you guys deliver only in the US or also internationally? Would love me a Cheddar and Russel sweater!

Your tree rose looks beautiful! I purchased a Double Pink Knock Out Rose Tree this year and have it in an extra large, double-walled resin container by the front door, but it s exposed to all elements. What would you suggest I do for winter protection? I m in zone 6, Massachusetts. Thanks for all your inspiration!

I love how Laura has her winter coat on and her son comes out in his shorts! This part of garden is my favorite. Can you explain more about the care of your climbing roses? How often do you fertilize and how do you keep disease and pests at bay? Do you have any suggestions for training a rose on vinyl siding?

October Glory question - I noticed yours by the chicken coop is yellow, which is pretty, but I'm curious as to why that might be? I bought five several years ago and only one is the red/orange I expected. Do you think they were tagged wrong, or do some October Glory trees simply turn yellow instead of orange?

I appreciate your videos that feature tasks we don't always look forward to in our garden odysseys. You always manage to inspire. It's nice that you grow some treats that the chickens can enjoy. I recall Aaron saying he thinks he is allergic to eggs; is he able to eat food prepared with eggs?

Man, you are like a machine! Busy, busy, busy! I love it when a project like this is complete such satisfaction! I now know what I need to do in my front flower bed it s lacking different textures and structure, so it looks messy. I learn so much from you, thank you!

Gosh I still wish you were my neighbor and I was your age again. We would have a blast with the gardens at both houses. I really enjoyed my flower gardens at a different home.
You are so interesting young lady with those flower gardens

Looks like you made some good progress getting that area cleaned up but it still has a long way to go. I would have pulled all annuals while I was cleaning out. Looks like several plants/trees are suffering from being over crowded.

If you love the basket of gold alyssum in the South Garden you should plant some around the rocks by the pond. I had some in my previous yard around my moss rocks and the look of it cascading over them was just gorgeous.

Good morning! For me it s always a good feeling to clean out and pull plants. It always looks so much better and not looking like a jungle. Laura in a sweatshirt and Benjamin in shorts, tee shirt and flip flops! Lol!

Love seeing how you think about and then move plants in your garden Laura! Question - do you cut back you smokebush? I'd like to have cutting foliage for fall flower arrangements and have never cut mine back.

I like this type of video. You can see such a change. Very satisfying. The palate pathway will look better in a less formal area. You are making so such progress with all your projects. Have a blessed day
