I recently purchased a Hartley Christmas Tree and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The tree is not only beautiful but also very sturdy. The branches are thick and full, providing ample space for ornaments to be hung. The needles are also soft and do not shed easily, which is a plus. Setting up the tree was a breeze, as the branches were already pre-shaped and fluffed, saving me a lot of time and effort. The tree has a nice fresh scent, which adds to the overall Christmas atmosphere in my home. I highly recommend the Hartley Christmas Tree for those looking for a high-quality, easy-to-set-up and beautiful Christmas tree. I recently started growing artichokes in my backyard and I found the artichoke grooming and planting process to be quite enjoyable. Artichoke plants require a little bit of attention and care, but the end result is definitely worth it. Grooming the plants involves removing dead leaves and trimming back any excessive growth. This helps to keep the plant healthy and encourages the production of the artichoke buds. Planting the artichokes was also relatively easy, although they do require a fair amount of space to grow properly. I am excited to see my artichoke plants flourish and look forward to harvesting and enjoying the tasty artichoke hearts in the months to come. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers to plant in my garden, and I recently added some new tulip bulbs to my collection. The process of planting tulips is relatively simple and rewarding. After preparing the soil and ensuring it is well-drained, I dug holes about 4-6 inches deep and placed the bulbs pointy-end up. I then covered the bulbs with soil, watered them lightly, and waited for the magic to happen. Tulips are known for their vibrant and eye-catching colors, and I am eagerly waiting for them to bloom in the spring. Tulips are a beautiful addition to any garden, and the planting process is definitely worth the effort for their stunning and long-lasting flowers. I highly recommend planting tulips for any flower lover or gardening enthusiast out there.

Question: I have a Meyer lemon tree. It's outside until our temps start dropping. I'm in a Zone 7b. The last two years I've struggled with it dropping leaves and not really recovering well. Each year I get a few lemons, this year only 8-9. They ripen around Christmas. Yours look amazing! Any suggestions? Inside I have mine in a Bay window that gets South and West sunshine. Thanks!

Laura, so smart of you to test your lights on that tree before tucking it away till next year. I just purchased a 9 ft Yukon Spruce from BH and one of the 4 pieces was damaged in manufacturing and didn t fit into the next one. It was only 2 days old so it wasn t an issue. Couldn t imagine trying to return a year old one. Your tree is beautiful!

I need to learn how to keep my indoor plants happy. I was watching how you care for the plants inside the Hartley. Do you water weekly or set a timer? I never like checking the soil.
I also think I struggle with some kind of fungus. Love all the trees you put up! Everything is always perfect! I hope you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

A weather station review would be greatly appreciated, I would like to purchase one as a Christmas gift. How has the weather station you installed worked, what features have worked well and are there any that haven't worked correctly? Has the Internet connection been consistent and do you like or dislike the model you installed? Thanks!

Hi Laura,
The year the Harley was erected you put a tree in there. I thought wouldn t it be great if Balsam Hills and Garden Answer worked together on a Christmas collaboration as I had never seen a Christmas Tree in a greenhouse before. I am so glad that you have acquired a beautiful Balsam Hill tree. They are all beautiful!

Yes! It is definitely possible to install floor outlets. I'm not an electrician, but, it may be possible even now to install one. They have metal covers to protect them when not in use. You do such a wonderful job with everything! I truly enjoy your videos and I learn so much!

I love these kind of videos, when there are just all these projects to come along with. Thank you for sharing Laura.
The Hartley Christmas tree is so beautiful.
QUESTION: will those artichokes freeze this winter and if so will they come back in the Spring? Perennial?

Good morning! Love the tree in the Hartley! I don t always put ornaments on my tree. Sometimes it looks just pretty with the lights. Sometimes I don t even put up the tree. I plan on putting my tree up this weekend. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

It's kind of a shame that all those spring bulbs went into rows instead of breathtaking sweeps through the garden. Are they going to be harvested for cut flowers?

Laura, I love watching your Christmas updates and decorating -- it's that time of year. I'm doing the same thing -- very fun to watch. Enjoy Thanksgiving!

Speaking of zones, would you now be able to plant heather and it would grow well, especially during the late fall through winter? Love the trees in the pots

I was wondering why you didn't use your potting tray when you planted your seedlings in an earlier video and this is why. It's in use with artichokes.

Laura, I see space under the doors. Is there a reason you don t have weather stripping under the doors to make it more tight? Just wondering.

Thx for taking us along, I think those bulbs are going to be a show cant wait, and the kitties also did their share to put a smile on our faces.

Hi Laura! Perhaps you should try growing Acanthus since you enjoy the leaves of the Artichokes, Acanthus is hardy in your growing zone now!

If the soil in the rose garden gets wet in winter the roses should be pruned down by 1/3 to prevent wind rock loosening the roots
