I can’t believe you are planting Totally Tangerine geums today! I have wanted this plant for a long time and just found it yesterday! I did not buy it though; instead, I got Tempo Rose as the color is a better fit in my garden. I hear they are not long-live, but you clearly have success with them so I’m hoping I will too. Thanks for another lovely video.

I am thinking of putting my calla lilies in the ground this year after watching youdo they over winter I live in Zone 6bI am guessing you’re going to Biltmore gardens in Asheville NC If so you will totally enjoy it I have been for their tulips show in spring and the mums in Fallspectacular!

I love geum too! I have one Mai Tai and one Totally Tangerine. I usually only buy one new plant to try before investing money into more to be sure they do well for me. I definitely want more geums! I’m going to try propagating them unless I can find some good deals on nursery plants.

i love the anticipation of what is coming next. It's one of the things I'm missing in my garden currently, especially in late July, and I'm working to fill the gap. Can't wait to see where you are heading to in NC. Regarding the mic, I had to turn my volume way up to hear you.

I love your mocktail recipes! And Grace belly rubs! I'd love to get your recommendations on self help books. Or at least more of the wisdom you've gained from them. Also wondering how you manage to keep weeds away organically. I am always struggling to keep on top of them.

Love your garden, I would love to have mine like that one day as I am just starting it out! I grew Lupine and really would like it in the garden. I am just worried how toxic it is with two young kids around. Contemplating if it should go out into the garden or not!

Gracie is the sweetest pup! I love geums! I picked up some pink and yellow geums. They are still little but I can't wait for them to get bigger. My guess would be Biltmore gardens. Have a wonderful, safe trip and I'll be hoping the weather is perfect for your visit.

Thank you for another beautiful garden video Watching you planting with Grace is so relaxing. I wish I could plant my dahlia tubers directly into the soil like you do. Unfortunately, I have a huge slug problem and need to grow them indoors before planting in the garden

Hi Danielle the audio is great! Enjoyed the garden center trip and what you are planting in your garden. It's always fun to look forward to the next thing that will bloom in the garden. I'm sure you will find a spot for the hardy geranium lol who could resist! Lol

I love the addition of the orange. The audio seems to be better than past episodes. This NC gal suspects your destination is Biltmore. The JC Raulston Arboretum and Juniper Level Gardens in Raleigh are also must sees.

Actually, I had to put on headphones and turn up the audio, because I couldn't hear you. I have watched several other videos today with no problems. Perhaps you can adjust the volume I would really appreciate it.

I've been to the Biltmore and the house is amazing but I'm guessing the azalea/rhododendrons will be over now so at this time of year I'd pick the Plant Delights Nursery and Juniper Level Botanic Garden myself. : D

I love geums! Last year, I got some small ones through the mail, so they're not their full height yet. But it's exciting how they've filled out already this year. I'm growing Cosmopolitan and Tempo Rose.

Sarah P. Duke Gardens in neighboring Durham, NC It is delightful. Or maybe the North Carolina Botanical Garden, which is around the corner. Or Airlie Gardens in Wilmington. I love all three.

Lovely! I aim to try to grow Geum. Sadly I failed to cage my Calla bulbs and voles converged and enjoyed them. Ugh! I'll have to get some more. They are my favs. Enjoy your trip!
reply

I wish I was at the nursery with you. Their selection of plants is great. I saw geum at a garden sale today but was not sure if they were bunny proof. Relaxing and planting with Grace.
reply

Always love to see what you are working on! The audio for this video was much quieter than normal. I preferred the other mic. Hope you are surviving the rainy PA weather
