As the trip comes nearer to and end I pull my twine up so it is not left over as liter. I notice that I've had an intruder come through my camp, most likely a moose. I also discuss how to make perfect rice over a fire. After lunch I decide that it's time to move along and try to hit another lake nearby which I haven't visited in over 10 years since it was heavily logged. And then. a bump in the night!

On a few occasions we have had to repair our goat fencing due to moose getting hung up or bulling into it. The latest was a set of tracks coming down at least a mile of dirt road turning onto the pasture and running smack into the woven fence with a single hot wire on the top, it pulled the 3 corner post out of the ground and laid the fence over, letting one Great Pyrenees free, the dog soon returned that morning.
