Is There A Future For Me on YouTube! - NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL ADVERTISERS! - Trail-Side Chat -

I discuss the future of this channel and the monetization aspects, age restricted content, not suitable for all advertisers and the other category which is safe for all viewers. YouTube has found many of my videos on processing to not align with the aim of the medium jeopardising the future of these self reliant skills. This video also talks about what I will do in the future and how I will discuss the topics and present the skills and techniques for living off the land. I end with some advise to boys who are watching the videos and whom don't seem to get how the world really works; the ones who encourage me to do nasty things to my family and are generally very disrespectful toward the skills needed to live on this planet. Why boys? Because 90% of my viewership is male and it's certainly not the vegans who are pissed off, it's the boys that eat from supermarkets getting upset that I eat wild foods. What does it mean to be age restricted. What does not suitable for all advertisers mean? Youtube is censoring my videos. Why is YouTube demonetizing videos?

What annoys me the most from the people who comment about how you should -eat store boight food- instead of sourcing your food from the wild. It is easily arguable that industrial meat production and raising is much more inhumane to the animals than sourcing them from the wild. In many cases they are raised in stalls, and fattened up to the slaughter.
Whereas Wild Game gets an oppurtunity to live a full, fair life and reproduce before dieing from a predator. Not to mention in your case you follow all the rules set by Game Wardens and the laws of Canada which do a fair job at ensuring that species don-t become endangered and arn-t over hunted. In many cases people HAVE to hunt deer or they become overpopulated and destroy the local ecosystem.
And this is coming from an aspiring vegetarian who is trying to become a vegetarian because of the emissions from meat production and lack of sustanability for the enviroment in the meat industry as well as concerns on the ethics of meat production, particularly in the case of pigs. But make no mistake: I, as many of you, believe that there is nothing inherently wrong with meat production. I-m just concerned with sustainability of the human species and the ecosystem first, and then I worry about uneeded suffering. It just bugs me that people misdirect their aggression to people like you who are actually teaching people how to be more sustainable and less destructive to our world.

Hi Chris, I really enjoy your vids and content, the wilderness living stuff and most your other vids, it-s a shame really your just showing people reality and teaching them real skills, you tubes just panicking because of there losses of advertising revenues, it-s sad as people like you suffer through it for creating educated and interesting content, there are other avenues though patreon might be good for you to help you get funding, it-s people funded so doesn-t matter whether or not you lose advertising revenues here, anyway just wanted to say thank you for the content so far I-ve watched pretty much everything you-ve made, mainly because it-s something I-d like to try myself in the future so your helping me get a grasp of the basics, keep up the great work and thank you again.

I produce for Android Authority. We built up to 2. 8 million subs. I can afford to do this full-time with a team. I would be happy to chat with you about this. There is so much more you could be doing to make money off this good content. I am Canadian and am fairly close to you. Contact me on Twitter -jaycebroda

Hey Chris: I've enjoyed watching your videos & growth. We don't always agree but we always consider each others views. I intend to keep viewing you & keep you on your toes. My years may be long but we are kindred spirits. Thanks Brian 77.

I appreciate your comment on the morality of harvesting animals. I often find it difficult to explain to people the hypocrisy in condemning hunting and fishing while feasting on store-bought meat.
