not hatin on you lfg but it seems your out of practice this year. maybe its just me, but it seems yo have lost a lot of fish this year. i understand not getting to fish much, but in past years you rarely lost one. timings off i guess. but keep rocking. and also, you are handling the truck ordeal well. not me but my wife woulda been on them like stink on s---. i would try and be patient like you but then i would have to send in my enforcer. i would have a new truck by now. send osg in on em.

Try a fire tiger or chartreuse rooster tail next time your on that lake. When nothing else works that's my go to lure for finding fish. It doesn't always catch the biggest or the most fish but it definitely gets the skunk out of the boat when your just grinding away. Don't know how well it will work in Texas but it catches everything with fins in Georgia and the Carolinas. I like 3/8 or bigger for bass and bowfin and 1/4 and smaller for panfish. Happy hunting!

With that being a male duck you might want to move him from the chickens when he gets older. He will kill your hens. How to put this delicatly. He will kill them having too much of a good time. Not intentionally just following natures course.
