In this video I'm unveiling my new home on wheels and giving you a complete bow-to-stern walkthrough of the 2020 Cougar 29BHS travel trailer by Keystone RV. This 34' camper is PERFECT for families and aventure-seekers alike. I'll also show you the truck I use to pull it, the Yakima rack system I transport my kayaks with and a cool product that helps my diesel engine run at its best

Your other rig was just over 28' long. this one is just over 34' long. Trailer length has been something I've been wrestling with. Just stayed at Gamble Rogers State Park in Florida. The site advertised they could take a 38' long trailer. My rig is 22'. I fit in the site nicely but couldn't begin to imagine what it would be like trying to back a 38' long trailer into the spot. So you've got a ton of experience. Did you struggle with trailer length at all or do you think 34' is not going to be a problem? /// I had the same complaint about under bed storage. I used 2 1x2s about 18 long and used a wood screw to secure them to the base frame. They work very well to hold the bed up and cost me pennys to build. Nice solution to solve the under bed access issue.

Wow, moving up in the world. The Keystone plant is 30 miles from me. My son and daughter in law have worked there. Employees get discounts too. They have a fleet of rigs that ship them out to everywhere. When you drive by it you can see it's a really big place. It's in Round up City, Pendleton Oregon. Also only 35 miles from the Columbia River where all the smallies are. So keep that in mind. What? no washer&dryer. Oh well. If that TV has VGA, plug your computer into it for a real upgrade experience. You won't want to go back.

I live in ohio. Some great lakes events you need to hit is the Maumee river walleye run, steelhead alley, and the Michigan salmon runs. Also lake st Clair for Muskie and smallmouth, and pike at ice out. Dude the great lakes can keep you busy the rest of your life, if be honored to show you around, or recommend a solid guide.

Robert- missed the graphics but look forward to the new ones, Also looking forward to seeing you in Michigan next year. Maybe you could be the reason I go fishing more next year. Threw flies once and tried some crank bait once. Good thing we had some hot dogs in the fridge. Good luck with the new rig. Jim K. Saginaw MI

You know Robert, I have no need for an RV but watching this video makes me want one! Glad you found yourself an even more comfortable home. Keep doing what your doing man! Safe travels and perhaps one day I'll run into you whether it be in the DC area or Panama. Take care.

Robert I enjoy your videos so much. Since I have started watching you I have caught more fish then ever before. Your videos are the best on YouTube. I'm so glad you accomplished your dreams and let me be a small part of that and take these trips with you.

Super fine rig! Sooooo, great lakes! Come check out the bass fishing on Lake Erie in Canada, eh? I'm a Kayak angler in Port Colborne Ontario and get out almost every day in the summer. 3 to 6 pound smallies are plentiful and a ton of fun to fish in a yak.

Really nice travel trailer and truck! I like the canoe rack on the truck and you are always on the ready. I took over the family van just to keep it loaded up with my fishing gear because you never know when the rivers will call!

Congrats on the new trailer and the new to you truck! I caught my wife eyeballing one of similar size a few weeks ago but she also knows that with a trailer any bigger than what we have now comes a bigger truck. lol
