In this episode, Max Moore is showing us step-by-step how to take natural, uncut wood and turn it into professional grade fishing lures. We'll be taking natural cedar, cutting it down, sanding it, filling it with lead, making our own hook hangers, painting them with an air brush and finally clear coating them. Then we'll put them to the test on some redfish and bass

Great video. Ive watched all your vids over the past couple of years. I live in the same neck of the woods as these awesome people. Enjoy your stay and good luck on the trip to the coast. I think after all that tedious work I might have to tie on some braid. Nice lure!

I recommend that you don't use wood where the 2 types of grain come together because the senter (the red part of wood) tends to be heavier so it makes your lure a bit unstable. Just a tip for if you want it perfect.

I use to make baits and picked up a couple of neat tricks with this video. I used lead solder to weight the bottom of baits.
