In this episode I'm joining Max Moore of Max Moore Fishing to harvest some fresh, organic, lean protein from right in Max's neighborhood. We're going frog gigging. These little pond frogs don't have much meat on 'em, but they're one of the tastiest critters I've ever harvested myself

Those are leopard frogs. And that BB gun is waaay to weak for a humane kill get a 22 or pellet rifle that'll actually do the job. Copper bbs suck at killing things leads the way to go. Great catch n cook tho cool to see you doing lots of collaboration work with really different people. I've never ate frog legs before I've used frogs for bait for fishing alot but they kinda gross me out lol. I hear alot of people say they taste like chicken anyone that can confirm or deny?

Best catfish bait ever cut off legs so fish bone pull off hook, step on them to open up gut area lets the blood and juices flow, to hook go under chin through the back next to spine out the soft belly so hook can hook

i've seen an easier way to clean them, make that first cut at the lower back with your knife then cut the backbone, grab onto the piece of backbone and pull it out of the skin. Great video looking forward for more!

Nice, used to do that as a kid. Those are Leopard frogs. :) Really. We didn't go after those, we went after the larger Bull frogs.
