Bitfenix Nova Mesh TG Case Review: Attempting Redemption

Bitfenix Nova Mesh TG Case Review: Attempting Redemption

Bitfenix was kicked hard to improve after launching its heavily mocked Bitfenix Enso, and the Nova Mesh TG is what they came up with as an answer. Sponsor: Buy Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on Amazon or Hydronaut paste [pending publication] Phanteks P400A on Amazon here: And the Bitfenix Nova Mesh Original Bitfenix Enso review: The Bitfenix Nova Mesh TG is one of many RGB PC case variants for the year, but does fall at a slightly lower set of prices for the slimmed-down, non-RGB, non-TG versions. The case has several SKUs, but its base design is unchanged between them. Bitfenix has gotten the memo that people want more airflow, and now it's time to see whether the company is able to implement and execute a good mesh design. Mesh cases are not inherently high airflow -- just having mesh doesn't make it the best PC case -- and mesh cases can easily be made to perform poorly. In today's review and benchmark of the Nova Mesh case, we'll test it vs. the Phanteks P400A, Bitfenix Enso, Cooler Master H500, and other relevant cases. I remember when I was a kid, I was browsing the local Computer shop and saw an amazing case that had a devil face on it, when I went to the counter with it, the guy behind the till said It looks cool but the airflow is bad and your computer will perform worse He then went onto recommend a good airflow case and saved me from overheating hell. Ever since that day I knew that the world needed someone to teach everyone the way of good airflow and keep us away from the sins of quick buck devil face cases. The wait was long and the people lacked the wisdom I had once been told, but the wisdom had not been lost, much like the mysterious man in the shop; A long haired, wise and humble man arrived for the masses, to cleanse us of our RGB tempered glass heat boxes and free us of sub-par framerates. Was he the reincarnation of that super helpful employee, I don't know but sometimes when I see hair blowing from a hairdryer I hear Steve's voice whisper to me the devil cases have bad airflow.

very accurate review again. thank you for your effort. One question beside. could somoene pleas list me a view cases, tht can take 2x 420mm Radiators with at least 45mm thickness, that have a pricepoint below 300 / (almost equal? Many manufacturers offer infos about radiator mounting places, but its almost no and but or. example: Top: 420, 280, 140, 360, 240, 120 Front: 420, 280, 140, 360, 240, 120 Could mean, if you install a 360 in either position, a 420 wouldn't fit on the ohter position anymore. I can't imagine it's on the consumer to ask every manufacturer for any case the make, if one is there that fits the needs. TT for Example was asked via FB-Support, they simply said, they even dont know for sure, but it should fit. So i thought, it could be a chance to ask here, since you have reviewed so many different cases, you might be able to give a list to the community, which offers orientation in this point. Greetings from Germany. keep going on like this! Thumbs UP!

Honestly i do not think i will even buy this case. No innovation or uniqueness to the case. To top it off, 2018, 2019 lian li took the trophy for cases uniqueness build and impressive case showcases. Lian Li razer and 011 XL dynamic. I do have corsair 570x it is acceptable but the layouts is nthg different in compare to other cases. Same format same layout 3 front 1 back fan 2 fan top. When i saw lian li dynamic and xl wow it really changed lots of customisation side top bottom and rear.

I just spent the better part of an hour taking off the extra dust filter, not only does it instantly looking better, allowing for more of the rgb lighting to pop, but it also cool much better. No it's not the best case for the money, but I had no issues building in it and really like the aesthetics. Bitfenix also has pretty decent technical support, which is something I can't for the life of me say about Cooler master. I'm very pissed at cooler master.

I request you consider a video on where old computer cases go to die. With the number of cases still selling, the waste problem must be considerable. I'm not a loony green. Just someone devoted to more responsible recycling of our waste. I realise we are talking cases, here but it has also puzzled me whether pcb's are being harvested for gold, rare earths etc, before going to landfill.

I personally run a meshify c tg with a full atx mobo, psu, HDd, 1070ti reference and a 360 rad in the front (it's a tight fit, but it works) and all in all, temps are fine (35c over ambient (22c) full load max on both CPU/GPU, with ek vardars running at 700rpm (pump at 1000rpm, and I would highly recommended it as a cheap, easy to build in, very multi-use case

4-SKU's and not one with 3 5. 25 bays. Sorry but that top front fan is NOT worth the loss of 3 bays and 18 2. 5in hotswap spots. I wish you would complain about things like this in your reviews your a massive influencer and by not doing so are causing more and more of these NO-BAY borderline useless cases to appear and less and less bay equipped cases.

I remember the case for IBM XT. They were bulky and made of thick steel. Not because of german standard for office computers (the one we own to it beige cases) but it had a purpose. In the age where people are aware more and more about the influence of a strong electromagnetic field I wonder how many cases would survive test against electromagnetic smog.

To be honest, that metal mesh won't filter fine dust which will clog heatsink fins really quick. I have to replace it with fibre filter from A/C industry. And due to more airflow restriction, I replaced all inlet fans with static-pressure optimised fans. It's been 6 months since, and I can only see minimal dust buildup.

Plain and simple, case is shyt. not like some youtubers doing review and saying its ok. its not. no space for cables, putting spare cables in the place of hdds, forcing some coolers that cant fit, even top of the case is bad as you cand add aio or even thick fans. so 2/10
