Pinkflow Liquid Cooler from AliExpress: Review of ID Cooling's Pink & White CLC

The ID Cooling Pinkflow can be picked up for about 100, making it a standard-priced closed-loop liquid cooler (AIO) that has one unique feature: It's pink and white. Sponsor: Thermaltake Toughram on Amazon In this review, we're benchmarking and analyzing the performance of the ID Cooling Pinkflow. ID Cooling has a big presence in Huaqiangbei SEG (watch our tour here: and in Asia in general, but doesn't have much Western presence. We've seen their coolers a lot while touring markets in Taiwan and Shenzhen, and so we figured it was about time to put one of them to the test on our bench. The Pinkflow is liquid cooler that goes full pink-and-white, and it matches the RX 580 2048 CUTE PET and RX 5700 XT WAIFU well. If you're going full-on pink/white, our review of the cooler should help make decisions. Pinkflow on AliExpress (not an affiliate link):

I'm very sad because I have a Corsair H115i and it can't cool my 3800X properly (meaning it performs the same as the stock cooler. Actually I had a H110i and I RMAd it because I thought it had a deffect, then they sent the H115i and its just the same. For both coolers I followed step by step the AM4 installation instructions. It kinda looks like their AM4 bracket has a design flaw which prevents proper contact. I dont know what to do anymore: (

What makes Asus Aura(without armoury crate) malware? I am honestly curious. I mean the software breaks sometimes but ASUS patched that RGB software vulnerability issue a ways back. The only telemetry used is via the ASUS Com service which is installed default when you install windows (with or without internet connection) so that is gonna be there regardless. You can just set a bandwidth limit for that service and done.

Research says that around half of PC gamers are women (huh, imagine that, yes so much of the market is over the top Masculine coded gear. While gear certainly does not have to be pink to be femme gamer oriented, some of us do like the more femme colors, and would LOVE to see more options in colors like this, purple, baby blue, etc. I'm tired of Dudebro Black GAMER being the default look for good PC gaming gear.

Honestly I love seeing things like this - I want to see manufacturers doing more fun cutsey stuff. I do wish the fit and finish was better though; the black cables and motherboard plate and the screws along with how easy it got marked up kinda ruin the look and make it look more like a bit of a cash grab at an undeserved market. But its at least different and not complete rubbish which is good.

Looking for peoples opinions: Is there any meaningful difference using 120mm fans/CLCs vs 140mm? Either performance or aesthetics? Getting 120s are often much cheaper. I m looking to get some of corsairs new all white QL120/QL140 aRGB fans 3x 120s are about 135 ( 45ea) 2x 140s are about 115 ( 58ea) Currently have 3 non RGB 140mm but will be replacing them eventually with more QLs

I've got an ID frostflow 280 cooler and it's worked nicely for me for the past couple of years. But yeah, the QA leaves a bit to be desired. They seem to come with a few scuffs/marks (or in my case, a couple of dented fins on the rad) out of the box. And yeah, the performance figures fit in with my personal experience of it being perfectly reasonable if not mindblowing performance.

Hello steve. thanks for your reviews I have a question that might be a bit too late to ask about vega gpus but here it goes: At which power point you feel vega 56 or 64 has the best power efficiency? Is it as amd suggest at 186w and 240w respectively? Or there is more to it? Ofcourse this means uv/hbm oc is applied as per each card potential but what do you think?

I have had a ID 240mm frostflow snow edition in the better halfs pc for a year now. For the price i don't think you could find a better aio. Got it for 79AU which is about 50US. The 280mm ID frostflow in my daughters pc is just as good. Great value for money and shows how big names tack on a hefty price to pay for a name.

Please review more china-made parts steve. This is a Godsend for us here in asia because prices for these products in here are very competitive. I just love your no nonsense approach to reviewing products. And its all evidence-based but at the same time you make it very easy to understand. Really, thanks man!

This would be great if I was building a computer for my nieces, or step daughter, and the theme was pink and white then again for simplicity sake I'd just find a white case, and white fans with RGB I can could get close to pink as possible.
