I gotta say, I am thinking about (or rather, preparing to prepare to) building a new system towards the end of this year. I have a few current cases in mind for that. Due to my desk layout, it will have to be a dual chamber layout OR a standard layout with a top-mounted PSU (which are rare these days). Most of the cases I'm considering are priced upwards of 150 bucks, some even above 200 which I find a bit much.
So, Montech offering a bunch of interesting cases at a much more reasonable price is very tempting to me - plus a few of their designs deviate from the current industry standards. It's nice to see, and I shall look forward to yours and Jayz and Roman's tests of a few of these.

I kinda feel out of touch with this case overview - personally I don't ever consider buying ATX or mATX cases without at least one 5.25 external bay. When I buy a case it usually survives multiple builds, so having that versatility in features is important to me. Case in point (hur hur, sorry), my now wife's gaming PC from 2016 was built in a Rosewill Blackhawk case, which has since been transformed into a NAS.
The hollow boxes filled with RGB and Fans lack any real use outside of temporarily hip styling and limited I/O connectivity. Get off my lawn!

The Computex coverages are definitely the highlight of every year. Hopefully Silverstone made some more interesting function-first designs this year like they did the year before. Also, with all the cameos in the Nvidia video since the gang's all here in Taipei, I understand that near the end of Computex there will be talk videos with people like der8auer, Wendell and the rest like the year before too

I got the MoNTECH KING 95 and i have one big complain. For the cases from montech with the curve glass in the front is not very good, as montech put a coating of something on the curve glass so when ever u try to clen it, the coating just gets all over the glass and impossible to fully clean. But other then that, montech cases and especially king 95 pro are just PRICE to PERFORMANCE KINGS!

Leather case looks sick.
Its just a traditional easy to build im case that looks like its pulling way above its weight in terms of premium looks to cost.
Looks like a good case for a small gaming build. If the logo isnt really gaudy and blatantthatd be great (Please companies, I dont wnat your name on my stuff. Get a small recognizable and symmetrical logo and use that instead)

I've been legit looking for cube-esque cases to update the HAF XB Evo that I've built my last 3 pc's in (great case for cooling, cuts me every time I have to do maintenance/cleaning and SUCKS to build in) for potential tipping over to get the mobo horizontal. That King 65 looks seriously promising, especially since my preferred lack of RGB would barely illuminate the interior. Schwing!

Hey GN, any chance you guys might do acoustic testing on PSUs in the future I find it difficult to get any reliable information on this. It's rather frustrating spending big dollars on high quality case fans, a big air cooler and a GPU with a large cooler, only to hear the power supply fan or components making more noise, or more noticeable noises than the rest of my system.

I literally just helped my cousin build a computer over memorial Day and when we were case shopping I took the back off of that case and saw the molex centipede and said no way we're dealing with that nonsense especially if you want to use this case for the long-term and went with a different model. I'm so glad to see that they're updating it! Love montech!

No word on the case designed by Gear Seekers Just, uh... easteregging it :(
YT beef detected, I'm expecting a Lying and shilling: Gear Seekers exposed video next!
Also, I love that leatherette case just for existing, it's totally standing out and kinda cute - maybe some color variations to better match that vintage camera

It's nice to see interesting stuff for reasonable prices. Montech seemed like a bit of a joke to me back in the molex centipede days, but they seem to be going the right way. Introducing some new ideas like the 80mm ramp (reminds me of the NZXT one that didn't work very well) is a cherry on top.

MONTECH IS CRAP! I had to pay more than the price of the case to diagnose a faulty usb3.0 header which was causing my PC to BSOD and eventually boot-loop. Screw Montech I will never buy their products again. Cheap Chinese crap with cheap chinese quality assurance.

Finally, this is the 5th video of cases, finally my favorite case size, those super matx cases that can fit matx mobo atx psu and fairly large air cooler and GPU.
i wish more brands would do those type of cases.
there is defiantly crowd for it. (r/mffpc)

I love the look of the mini, would like a case that would allow for that type of look available in a larger size, however. Maybe if I end up running a small personal server I could grab one of em. Would it come in different colors

Thanks for all the case reviews. I recently went with a 3000D, which is pretty decent for the price and a drastic improvement in airflow for me, but's it's also nice seeing all the shit I missed out on that I didn't want to pay for.

I'm one of those people that have their PC on the floor (function over form, sits where fits) so I avoid cases with bottom intake, BUT I can see very clean cable routing possibilities with that power supply placement in the HS01.

Whatever happened to the Open Frame case/chassis they previewed last year. At this point is the concept dead
On their subreddit they were putting promises on a tentative release date but nothing happened

Yo Steve when are you gonna collab with one of these case companies
Having the GN seal of approval be an official thing would be great or is there something corporate keeping u from doing it

Were there any good cases for workstations there this year Anything not full of rgb or glass None of what's shown in the video is useful for someone that just wants to build a computer that works.

Definitely going to be keeping an eye on the HS01. I am a serious SFF PC guy but that case looks incredible, especially at the price point they're aiming for. Excellent coverage as always!

the sky 3 and the HS01 are the most interesting to me, I really like the aesthetic of the sunken in fans and hopefully the height off of the table won't affect the air intake too much
