Will Netflix Survive Disney

Will Netflix Survive Disney Netflix is definetely better, although i am more inclined to shows on HBO Max and Disney , Netflix simply offers more variety and idk, ill say around 70% of their originals are pure successes and are worth watching, Disney will be temporary for Marvel shows and who knows how long those will last Maybe a couple of years Again, I am hyped for those shows but then again, Netflix has more options and choice really. For HBO Max, number one, its pretty expensive, $16.99 a month No way, then again, most of the new movies of 2021 and 2022 are hitting HBO Max(Kong Vs Godzilla, JL Snyder Cut, The Suicide Squad and more) so ya HBO Max does win there. But overall, ig Netflix has a great chance of survival, theyve been at this for years have enough experience, idk about other streaming services but that could just be because theyre cast under Netflixs shadow so idk. Now, just because of the pandemic, everyones decided to put their own streaming service to shine while Netflix has been doing it for years so ya, it has a good chance of survival, plus its incredibly popular\r\n

Have you seen what Disney offers it's nothing all that exciting tbh, I've been having issues finding things that I actually want to watch on it already. Netflix has plenty of things I like watching and a wider variety of content and a lot of that is for adults which is something Disney doesn't really do. Already planning on cancelling my Disney Plus after the first month once my wife and kids have had their fill of it, I mean you can only watch the same things so many times before its done right Netflix brings out new things constantly and while a good portion of it isn't for me there's still plenty that is, they also bring in a lot of foreign made content that I have enjoyed a lot, shows from the UK, Germany, France, Korea, Japan etc.... HBO still charges more a month for their streaming service and while they have some great quality content they just don't have nearly enough for me to want to pay for it. Netflix will be fine.

It's now mid December 2019 and I have Disney free with Verizon and I'm not impressed. Their original content is for the birds and there are only so many times I can rewatch Disney classics. Netflix has much more of a selection and IMO is far superior. Unless Disney starts adding some serious new content plus adds adult programming and makes it available internationally I don't think Netflix is in danger. Also Prime is staying put! Free shipping plus a ton of incredible programs to watch for one low yearly price! A lot of people have misjudged how much people will stick around to rewatch the same Disney movies we all have DVDs of already.

I certainly see why news corporations need multiple 'opponents' going against each other, but if you truly want to make to make sense of the direction premium subscription media is heading, start with the fact that there will be a few winners in the war.
Today, on average there are 3 subscriptions per streaming household. We are going to see a bunch of new players like HBO Max, Peacock, Quibi and even a service by Discovery and BBC. We are going to have multiple major streaming services, all specialising in a certain type of content, while also offering substantial evergreen, mainstream movies and shows.

streaming business is all about content. People currently are emotional about Netflix the brand. However Disney is daddy of content. Amazon, Apple & Disney are cash rich. They can afford to burn money and create great library. Add to that Disney's combo with ESPN and Hulu and that gives you sports too. All it takes to switch loyalty is poor content back to back quarters. Netflix and other Streaming business unfortunately are mercy to it. All it takes to sink these business is a non payment of monthly bill or a simple app delete.

No it won't, Netflix still offers a lot that Disney doesn't... what really won't survive is cable/sat. It is already cheaper to have Netflix, Amazon and Disney/Hulu then it does to pay for cable... it's not even half of what my cable costed to be exact. With in my cable budget I could still afford Apple TV, Crave, AMC etc... if wanted to and it would still be cheaper then what my cable bill was.

Weekly releases will not help, unless episodes are removed when a new episode releases. If I can watch old episodes I can sub once a year, binge and then unsub until the next year. I don't have to watch partial seasons anymore. Even if Netflixs goes away I can buy seasons on DVD or Bluray. Bingeing is not something Netflix started or can control.

Honestly Netflix will survive Disney plus is well... only Disney while Netflix is more open with bro brining home movies form different companies you won find mission impossible or something on Disney. Also Disney plus is only of pg 13 that’s the highest rating while Netflix can go rated r but I still like Disney too along with Netflix of couse

Thanks for the content. I actually got rid of NetFlix in March. I never or vary rarely open the app on any platform. I do have Prime, Hulu, Roku and of Course Disney Plus, but buying a year at a time.... saves money and is so much better. NetFlix doesn't have that option. They should. After all they are a Pioneer in Video/Streaming

netflix is a piece of shit. excuse my language but i've seen many movies on cable for example dawn of the dead i've seen this movie years ago i liked it so i wanted to see it again on netflix and i noticed that there are scenes that has been cut off. so tell me how can you enjoy a movie like that. netflix are cutting movies scenes.
reply

I say yes because I'm pretty sure Netflix and Disney will work each other because I heard Disney is going to put R rated movie to Netflix, for example, Deadpool, Logan, Blade
Not to mention so many company disney own, Disney could just give r rated to Netflix since Disney don't accept R rated

reply

People shouldn't be worried about Disney Plus you should be worried about Hulu... cuz they already stated starting next year it will be their home for ABC Fox freeform FX FXX fxm and their share of A & E Networks... and that's where they're bringing all the original content for grown ups...

Lol this aged like milk. Netflix destroyed Disney. They had no content after Mandalorian was over, whereas Netflix has a new show or movie every other day. I don't know anyone who talks about Disney anymore except to sigh about how they have to put it on for their kids.

NBC Universal is NOT anything close to being a commemorator to Netflix or HBO Max much less Disney. The Network Television streaming services are going to be the first ones to die. They'll probably die before most of their potential costumers even find out they exist.
reply

The only thing Disney plus has at the moment is the mandolorian and nostalgia, and nostalgia can only get you so far, Netflix line up is far diverse in terms of types of content, maybe in the far future Disney plus can be a threat but for now Netflix is fine.
reply

It's a tough competition, Netflix had a good start but Disney got all the money. It will only a matter of time that Disney will buy their competition just so they can monopolize everything. I am not a Disney fan and I hope Netflix survives the chronic clashes.
reply

f you have the Disney app on a smart TV and run an optical cable from TV to AVR, you won't even get plain old Dolby Digital 5.1. Just stereo. Disney needs to fix that stat. OTOH Netflix, Prime and HBO GO will transmit a 5.1 signal just fine.
reply

NETFLIX isn't going anywhere. I've had Netflix for years and never watched any Disney content and prefer their original content. I think we live in a world where ppl will cut the cord and just have 3 or 4 streaming services like I do.
reply

I wouldn’t be secretly hoping for Netflix’s demise if they didn’t FORCE TRAILERS on us without the option to turn them off. I find this incredibly arrogant, and from a practical standpoint, very distracting.
reply

Will Disney survive. I’m thinking about canceling my subscription simply because it’s just a nostalgia trip. If Disney doesn’t push out original content like Netflix I won’t be a customer for long.
reply

Of course it will survive, there is so many Disney movies you can watch before you want to watch somthing else, like R rated movies, horror or just not Disney and Netflix has a much greater variety.
reply

No one can take them down. If they think that than that is where they will fall. Once a company thinks that they are unbeatable they will begin to fall. Even a giant can be brought down.
reply

I rate Netflix should give you the first 3 episodes of a season then release the remainder of the season on a weekly basis. It gives you something to look forward to in a way.

Did Disney buy Netflix to play some series and movies from Marvel i want i want to watch Such us Wanda Vision Falcon And Winder Solder What ....If and more
reply

Netflix just made a deal with Nickelodeon, hopefully they will get a deal with Warner brothers. Anybody that knows Disney knows that the price is going to go up.
reply

Yes they will ,netflix has way more variety movies and R rated and all the marvel series that disney wont put out ,there 2 different streaming cant compare them
reply

Disney is whack and it's all shit we've seen. Even the marvel movies are yet to be available they still streaming on Netflix. So let's not be delusional
reply

They all are going to die, it’s a lot easier downloading something than figuring out we’re is everything, and if you can actually access it.
reply

Disney is such a GREEDY CORPORATION... They want to own everything. Those prices are definitely going up... You can count on that.
reply

People trying to defend netflix witht here and yet at the end of the day its what u want to watch and choose where u will invest your money in
reply

do not forget that people from other countries will not be able to pay both and personally when choosing, I go to the side of Disney
reply

Let's be honest, its only between Netflix and Disney. All the other streaming services wont be able to keep that price forever
reply

You suspect that they going to doing weekly releases of T.V. Shows. With ideas like that you should be a consultant for Netflix.
reply

...watch it in 3 days. -Who takes that long. I watched all 8 seasons of Suits in 3 days. Yeah I don’t have a life.
reply

netflix has SOOO much content
yeah...but like half of it is garbage. Or do you really need another Amy comedy special
