Welcome to day 2 of the 5 day 1 hour at home workout series! Second in the series is upper body workout and upper abs workout combined. This at home workout will target your shoulders, arms, chest, back, core and upper abs! You will need a mat or elbow friendly surface and a pair of dumbbells (I-m using 8kg for your reference. The exercises are performed for 50 seconds each with 10 seconds to get ready for the next exercise. We will be performing each full set 3 times with 2 x 1 minute full rest period after 1st and 2nd set. There isn-t a lot of rest, 10 seconds to be exact between each exercise in the sets, so this makes the upper body work harder. Just bear this in mind when selecting a weight. You can use water bottles also! As with all follow along workouts, please warm up fully prior for at least 5 minutes to prepare body for work ahead. I have not put alternatives up due to the fact there is no jumping or high impact movements but I would ask that simply change an exercise to how you like. For example, the push ups, simply drop to knees and keep going! Or with shoulder press, just lower the weights to reset and go when you are ready! I found that push ups very difficult as my arms were very tired and I simply stopped, took a moment and retried! Tomorrow-s workout is hamstrings, glutes and lower abs and you will need a mat and sturdy chair for Bulgarians lunges! I-m sure you will feel accomplished after this workout! I look forward to hearing how you get on! Enjoy!

This week is exactly what I need after Epic 3. Another great workout, especially the abs part. I was able to follow along, even though there were lots of planks yesterday!
I knew there were not so many reps today, so I used my 5 KGs for the arms part except for the raises (used my 4 KGs for them) and focused on slow, controlled movements.
I like that the workouts have a quiet, almost relaxed feeling about them, even though they are certainly hard!

I have followed you through out lockdown and love your exercises. I broke my foot last week and after a week of rest I-m climbing the walls. This workout is brilliant for no impact on my foot. I did the push ups on my knees and swapped the pike one for a plank (moon boot on. Thanks again x

Hardcore as ever Caroline, proper time under tension on the abs and they're on fire. Arms are pumped too. I had to improvise a bit with one 16KG kettlebell and 2 6kg ones but this worked fine. Thank you for your smile this pushes everyone through --

Finished all Epics and now working my way through old workouts that I haven't done. A oldie but goodie! Used 6kg all the way through. 18 months ago this would not have been possible but it is all down to Caroline!

This is great, I love it, It didn't feel like 1 hour, and it is so good that you don't talk, it is very easy to follow you because your movements are so clear, and I like the timer a lot! You are the best!
