30 Min DEFINED CALVES & LEG WORKOUT at Home - Bodyweight Only - Caroline Girvan

Aiming for defined looking legs? Wanting to jump higher? This bodyweight leg workout is 30 minutes combining calf strengthening exercises with quad, glute and hamstring workout to give a great lower body bodyweight workout. We will be working the calves (triceps surae) in two main positions; bending at knee and straight leg to ensure we work the pair of muscles that make up the calves. Calves are used in training and daily activities we sometimes don-t notice! There are many benefits to having healthy calves and incorporating a calves workout. They help protect the joints, provide stability for the knees, therefore reducing risk of injury and improve your athletic performance with vertical jumping, balancing, sprints and squats to mention afew! The workout is 30 exercises in total, 45 seconds each and 15 seconds to get ready for next exercise. Simply follow along and have fun! I struggled with home exercise during lockdown, fell off the wagon to many times to count and only discovered your videos a about a month or so ago. how I wish I found these earlier, I simply love it! its so hard I want to cry sometimes but I truly love your videos and the flexibility of those 10 - 15 minute hardcore exercises for us ladies with hectic work and life schedules, cannot believe I can actually fit in a class before work meetings in the morning. its awesome! .Please dont stop making videos.

Dear Caroline,
Thank you for your positive energy and amazing workouts! I have a lot of trouble with inflammation in my achilles tendons and I've done this workout twice now and I can feel the difference already. You're the only one who has a guided workout for calves and I hope you will make others similar to this one!
My goal is to be able to do this workout without pausing the tv and more than once a week.

I am not even going to comment on the difficulty level of this workout because, I am shaking right now. But I wanted to ask: how do you keep your knees so clean and un-bruised? Mine have become dark. Any ideas?

I usually don't focus on calves as much. Something around 10 minutes. so these 30 minutes I felt like I will lose toes and calves but it was a good pain ofc. Love how I feel during and after it

Great workout. ----Please make a lean legs series. I have been several exercises from past 2 years. But unable to get desired result
